"This time I was taking my child to celebrate my birthday. I thought about playing at the beach around Shanghai. I was afraid that it would be too sun-dried in the summer, and I really didn't want to take the elderly and children toss around. I accidentally saw this homestay. Open the door to Taihu Lake, stand on the balcony, and the lake is at your feet. In the morning, I opened my eyes to see the sunrise slowly illuminate the lake; in the evening, I sat there and watched the sunset fall a little bit. There was no itinerary, no urging, and the time seemed to slow down. The room was very clean, the combed bed was large, and the family lived in no problem. The housekeeper is also very caring, and can contact you at any time if you have something to help solve in time. On the night of the check-in, you can drive to the nearby small beach in 5 minutes. Children dig sand and swim, all free. The adults walked slowly along the lake to the lighthouse. The sunset fell on the lake and the wind came over. Suddenly I understood why the ancients always wrote the word ”go back”. The next day, you can take a boat to Manshan Island. The niche ancient villages are not fully developed. From the villagers, you can buy watermelon and sit by the well and eat it, like you have returned to your childhood. I used to feel that I must go to many places and see many scenery when I travel. This time I found that sometimes the really comfortable holiday is just the calmness in the ”a cloud of rain and rain” and not in a hurry. Watch a sunrise, wait for a sunset, drink a cup of coffee. Living by the lake, nothing is in a hurry, it is also very good."

"Service: Warm reception, the homestay is very good, there is a paid extra bed, the cost is not expensive, the extra bed fee also includes breakfast, suitable for three adults. They can also try their best to meet the needs during the stay. Although the lights are dark early at night, there is WeChat customer service to answer online at any time and give a big praise. Environment: A cafe, the third floor is a homestay, although there is no lake view room, but there is a large terrace on the second floor or the top floor, you can enjoy the panoramic view of Taihu Lake, you can also sit along the Hu, order tea, look at the quiet lake, you can stay in a daze all day. If you encounter a sunny day, you can watch the beautiful sunset. Hotel near West of Suzhou Industrial Park/Suchow Center,Suzhou
Experience the renowned beauty of Suzhou in an unforgettable private island of Four Seasons Hotel Suzhou. Our 9-hectare (22-acre) private island retreat on Jinji Lake is only minutes from the bustling city center, with expansive gardens and dramatic lake views enveloping you in a serene and private sanctuary – a true urban escape.

"The overall service was excellent, everyone was friendly and smiling. For our anniversary, they decorated the room and sent us a small cake and cookies. The infinity pool was beautiful and great for photos, and they even offered us mini popsicles. The kids' club was large, making it a perfect place for families with children. We originally booked a 'Yiyuan' King Room, but the front desk said they upgraded us to a courtyard room. This room, however, was on the ground floor with a courtyard, which was useless since it rained all day Sunday. Moreover, it was located at the very end of the East Wing, making it extremely inconvenient to get around with a child. We had to walk so much extra. The room was on the first floor, while the front desk was on the second, and we had to take a connecting elevator. The actual 'Yiyuan' rooms are usually on the second floor or higher. So, this felt more like a downgrade disguised as an upgrade, and we were quite uncomfortable. The duvet cover and duvet were separate, the cover had no zipper or ties, and the edges were torn. I strongly advise against staying in the ground-floor rooms with courtyards. They are dark and gloomy, and on rainy days, a room with a balcony upstairs would be much airier. Since we were traveling with a baby and spent most of our time at the hotel, every time we had to go out, it took forever, and our child got tired. Therefore, I felt the room experience this time was very poor – it was remote, and the lighting was bad."

"My stay at Park Hyatt Suzhou far exceeded my expectations. The overall design, with its elegant and grand Suzhou garden-style courtyard, was impressive, and the guest room was very comfortable with an excellent view of Jinji Lake. A special thanks to our butlers, Tracy and Rain, who upgraded us to a lake-view room. They were incredibly warm, attentive, and responsive throughout our stay, taking care of all our needs with a perfect balance of thoughtfulness and discretion. We truly felt at home. The dining was equally delightful. Xizhou Xuan offered exquisite and authentic dishes, and the breakfast quality was consistently high, with the Suzhou-style offerings being particularly outstanding – a truly satisfying culinary experience. The combination of attentive butler service and delicious food made this trip to Suzhou exceptionally memorable."
