"The staffs are very friendly and helpful. There is self check-in area so I could check-in very quickly. The guest kitchen is also good and has basic cooking utensils. The hostel room is smaller than I through and looked in the pictures. We are 2 so that’s enough. The bus stations are near to hostel ( just 100m ), U-line ( 500m ).
There is also a storage, you can leave your luggage there until night."

"Overall great experience. Would definitely revisit for one-night stay in Berlin. You get what you pay for. If you are a sound sleeper and don't mind sacrificing a bit of space for the location, this is the place to be.
Location - in city center and right next to the subway exit. The neighborhood looks a bit ”Berlin-ish” at night but I heard it's actually in a safe area. A drugstore is located in the same building and a grocery store was also 3min walk.
Cleanliness - The capsule itself was very clean. I liked the idea of capsule and how they replace the mattress every morning. However, the shower and toilet need more frequent cleaning. Nothing unpleasant, just a bit messy, so four stars.
Service - great, they were the usual friendly hostel staff
Facility - great. one star off because the ventilation of the capsule was not strong so I had to open the capsule a bit to get fresh air. The atmosphere is great and everyone was polite and quite, so I didn't have an issue. However, I could hear noise from outside and nearing capsules, so the sound isolation and privacy are somewhere between a cheap hotel room and a hostel dorm. which corresponds to the price."

"Room and bathroom were clean. The hostel provides large lockers and each bed had its own socket, which was convenient. However, the sockets were located at the level of the lower bunk, so if you're on the top bunk, you might need a longer charging cable (my Apple wire was long enough though).
There’s also a bus stop just a minute’s walk away. The location is quite good — about 20 to 35 minutes from most major attractions.
Overall, a great stay. Highly recommend!"

"Good location! Surrounded by markets, bars, restaurants, clubs and a 30 minute walk from East Side Gallery. Right next to Ostkreuz which is very handy. Kitchen wasn't the cleanest due to guests negligence and there was a constant unpleasant smell."

"I stayed at Generator Mitte in Berlin and overall the experience was okay, but the room was far too small for four people — it felt really cramped. There were also no hairdryers available to use, which was inconvenient. On Saturday night there was a party in the hotel, and it was extremely loud; we couldn’t sleep until it was over. The location is great, but the comfort and noise levels definitely need improvement."

"Lovely hostel and enjoyed sharing the room with the guests. Each dorm had its own kitchen and bathroom and it was clean and I felt safe. The bar downstairs is far from the rooms so it’s pretty quiet upstairs. As a guest you get discounts for meals and drinks when you stay at the hostel. The hostel is very close to Rosa-Luxembourg Platz which (right outside the door) which will enable you to take the U Bahn to Alexander platz and other places. The M8 Tram will take you to the Berlin Wall memorial and Berlin HBF and other surrounding areas."

EastSeven Hostel is clean, modern and well maintained. There are many young volunteers, and the staff are friendly and easy to talk to.
Breakfast is available from 6:00 to 10:00, mainly milk and cereals. The hostel has a strong social vibe, with movie nights, drinking games and quiz nights. Many guests go clubbing together. The female dorm stays quiet at night.
There are unisex bathroom and female-only bathroom, both with separate shower areas. The rooms are warm, with good heating, bedside lights and a hair dryer available (in the bathroom. ) — very comfortable in Berlin winter.
Public transport is close: about a 5-minute walk to the U-Bahn and 10 minutes to bus stops. The airport is around 1 hour away, and Berlin Central Station just over 20 minutes.
Tip: during U2 construction near Senefelderplatz, ride one extra stop toward Pankow and change back.
Overall, a solid choice if you want a clean, social hostel with easy transport access.

AaprilsafariVery good core location, no noise. The room is high, the design is reasonable, with a separate bathroom, dry and wet separation. There is a cabinet with a door card lock in the room, which is very safe. The front desk helped us arrange a room with a girl in the absence of a girl's dormitory according to our requirements. The garden is great too, everything is fine anyway! Highly recommended.

However it is a bit far from the main train station 700m especially pulling 3 big luggages with us. Otherwise we enjoyed the stay and able to get our groceries and food from nearby supermarkets for our dinner.

GGuest UserThe location is great, being very close to the MTR station, which is convenient for transportation.
However, I experienced some issues during my stay. Firstly, there were unpleasant smells in the bathroom, which was quite off-putting. Additionally, I was disappointed to find out that no female rooms were provided. This became a concern for me as there were some uncomfortable encounters with male guests, making it potentially unsafe for solo female travelers. Fortunately, after switching to another room, the situation improved.
If you are looking for a hostel in Berlin, I believe there are better options available that would provide a safer and more comfortable stay.

GGuest UserEvery day, there are events you can attend to meet more people. They also have a great public area where everyone can use a laptop, which is quite good. However, I stayed for five days, and on the first day, my locker broke. They promised they would fix it the next day, but they didn't. So, I had to put my suitcase in the basement for the other four days. (The basement has a secure, automatic luggage storage system with individual cabinets, which is good.) Overall, it was a good experience to stay there!

Reception services were good and could stay in lobby kitchen before check in time.
The room had oven, fridges, sink and the bathroom and shower is common.
The surprise was that there was also a tv.
The breakfast has not many vegan options as announced but it was quite good and is taken outside where is also garden.

AAnonymous UserIt was easy to access from tram station, nice staffs. We have to use stairs from 7 to 8 floor, it can be hard. Guest kitchen was honestly messy and not clean, but it is the hostel. There was hair dryer, shower, there were everything that I needed. It was good staying.

There was a firealarm twice during my one-week-stay.
You can go there, it’s not too bad. I never saw another person in the shared bathroom for instance.
The reception is nice but the coffee small for its price. While you can hear in your room everything that is happening in front of it, I never had enough people on my floor to find it too disturbing. It’s a big building.
What I really liked was the cozy room, the desk, the arrangement of the light and the sink. I felt at home in the private space.
