"The bed area was comfy and spacious, however on my second night I was staying there, I think the AC was turned off because it became really hot and humid inside the room and it was cooler out in the hallway than inside the dorm, which made it really hard to sleep. Cleanliness was not the best. The hallway leading to the hotel entrance was literally black with dirt, as if nobody had ever passed a mop there. People were also allowed to bring their outdoor shoes into the dorm, so the floors were not very clean. Don’t think they ever cleaned any of the floors with soap, but they did make sure the sheets were fresh and clean for new guests (I saw them do it), and they did pick up trash on the floor every day. Kitchen was minimal. There was no stove but there was a microwave and a sink but no cups or bowls if you planned to cook or eat there. There was a space under the beds to store your shoes which was nice. Overall, for the price and the location, it was worth it and I would return."

"Incredible value for money stay in the heart of Sapporo. I have never stayed in a capsule hotel before which made me hesitant to book this hotel, however I am so glad that I chose it. The location is unbeatable, in the very heart of Sapporo, in Susukino district. There is an endless amount of izakaya and restaurants on the doorstep of the hotel. The onsen and sauna was the best I have visited in Japan so far. I have heard the sauna is famous across Japan, and I can see why. It is kept impeccably clean and the entire facility is well maintained. The amenities such as unlimited towels, toothbrushes, razors and hair products are a great touch too. The capsule hotel itself was great, like the rest of the property, spotless clean and well kept. Despite being a capsule hotel, I heard no snoring for disturbance during the night. The breakfast was delicious and excellent value. Upon checkout, I requested to book again due to my great experience."

"Stay Mid May 2026. The female dormitory is clean. They have humidifier and heater in room. You have to change the bedsheet, pillow cover, duvet by yourself. Towel, earplug, razor, toothbrush are provided. They have chiiler & freezer to keep you food. The kitchen also if you want to cook. Coffee and tea are free all day. Located only 5 min walk to Susukino and 15 min walk to.Sapporo Station."

"This hostel is on the pricier side, and the shower water temperature is inconsistent. It's really inconvenient having to walk through the kitchen and common area, past everyone, just to get to the bathroom. Many residents seem to live here permanently, with their belongings scattered all over the floor. It's not a very welcoming place for travelers just staying a short while."

"We were a party of two, and the room was spacious with a very comfortable bed. The front desk was great, letting us check in half an hour early. The breakfast was delicious, and one of the staff members spoke Chinese.
On the downside, there's no TV, so it's quiet enough to hear noise from the hallway, which means the soundproofing isn't great. Also, a sewage-like smell occasionally wafted from the bathroom drain."

"The front desk is also a cafe, which gives the hotel a really nice vibe. The staff were very kind, even helping me with my heavy suitcase all the way to my room. "There was an issue with my capsule hotel booking, and to top it off, Sapporo experienced heavy snowfall, causing the JR airport line to shut down. By the time I finally made it to the city center, the subway and buses had stopped running. Luckily, I spontaneously booked this place, and it's within walking distance of Sapporo JR Station. Given the price, I didn't have high expectations. I just pulled the curtain, put in my earplugs, and slept soundly until morning. It's a decent option for a solo traveler needing a last-minute overnight stay."

"We booked a twin room, which was clean and not cold in winter. The hotel's location is great, very close to the subway station, just a short walk away. If you don't want to take the subway, you can take a taxi. There's also a 7-Eleven nearby! The hotel provides umbrellas at the entrance, has a lounge, and a kitchen with facilities. The room is actually quite large, not as small as I imagined. We had four suitcases and other bags, which was enough for us. The only drawback is that there's no private bathroom (and it seems you have to pay two yuan to buy a toothbrush). But overall, it exceeded my expectations!"

"This is a relatively small youth hostel, primarily with enclosed bunk beds. It's very clean, and each guest has a small desk for writing. Folding stools are available for borrowing if needed. The facilities are quite complete.
The service was very friendly. Even though I don't speak Japanese, I managed to chat with them using a translation app. The lady at the front desk used to teach abacus and plays table tennis in her spare time. The next day, a man drove us to our destination. Thank you very much.
I'll definitely stay there again."

LLuoliVAMPIREExcellent! First off, it feels very safe with separate dorms for men and women. Secondly, the bathroom facilities are well-designed and thoughtfully arranged. The only minor downside is that for light sleepers, earplugs are a must at night because there are many beds in the room. On the plus side, it's very clean. Also, it's close to the metro station, and there are plenty of options for food, drinks, and shopping nearby.

SSol the PineThere are private room options available, with your own wardrobe space, desk, and chair. I chose the top bunk — it takes a bit of effort to climb up, but it’s more budget-friendly.
There are only a few private shower rooms on the third floor. However, the public bath on the 8th floor is very spacious and includes hot and cold plunge pools, as well as a sauna.
The hotel provides indoor wear for guests, but complimentary drinking water is not available.

GGuest UserYou can find this hostel by typing ”theatel” into Google Maps, and the navigation is pretty accurate. It's located on the third floor of a building with two entrances. One entrance has ”F-45” written on it, and there's a floor directory next to it (with the hostel's name listed on the 3rd-floor section). The other entrance has a huge 'egg' shaped sculpture in front of it. Near this egg sculpture, you can see the famous landmark beer billboard (featuring an old foreign man's face). You can also see the hostel's name when you enter the building from behind the egg sculpture. Take the elevator to the third floor, and after exiting, turn right to find the front desk. Sometimes the front desk is unattended, but there's a tablet nearby with a QR code. Just scan it with your phone's camera to self-check-in (you'll need to enter a four-digit reservation code). The female-only section has a code-locked door (I received the code on my phone during self-check-in, and also in the email I provided when I made the reservation). After entering the code, there are two more doors: one leads to the accommodation area (my capsule bed was very clean and soft, came with two hangers, a bath towel, a blackout curtain at the entrance, a power outlet by the headboard, an overhead storage cabinet, a box of tissues, and a pair of indoor slippers at the foot of the bed). The other door leads to the washroom area (which I thought was cleverly designed). The innermost part has several shower stalls + changing areas, all equipped with shower gel and shampoo. Outside of that, there are a few coin-operated washing machines, and further out, two rows of sinks. There are stools under the sinks, and hand towels and hairdryers on top. Next to the sinks, in a separate area, are several toilets. The entire washroom area was very clean, and I actually found the toilet paper quality to be quite good. Perhaps influenced by the widely held belief about 'quiet Japanese society,' the entire hostel was very quiet. I booked and paid in advance through an online platform, so I didn't have to pay anything extra from check-in to check-out. On the wall above the foot of my capsule bed, there was a 'check-in guide' (with the Wi-Fi name and password, and a check-out QR code). You need to check out before 10 AM by scanning the code and confirming. I was very satisfied with my stay.

GGuest UserThe cubicles are tiny but very clean and very nice. Can't be beat for location and price. The staff was helpful and they do not speak enlgish but haveeeeeeelittle translation device. It is amazingly well set up and organized. I was really impressed with all the facilities there.

GGuest UserGrandpa's hotel is very comfortable! Clean and tidy, I feel very safe. ～ My object said that I really want to doraemon's home hahaha. The grandfather is very good. We went back too late on the day of check-in. I originally told my grandfather that it was 11 o'clock to come back to check in and I went back at 1 o'clock. Grandpa was still waiting for us. I was touched. The grandfather was really good. I introduced us to the room so late. In short, the experience is super good! ! I came and went in a hurry. I didn’t take any photos. I just put two water in it. Haha. The first one seems to be the entry rules. I don’t remember it. You can learn from it. ～
