Hot Springs Hotels in Atami

"On our second day in Atami, we switched to the Resorpia Hotel by the sea. Since we were coming from another onsen hotel, we took a taxi directly to the 1st floor. Guests can only access this hotel by walking down from the 9th floor on the hill. The location is fantastic; we could see the ocean right from our room's balcony. The next morning, we could even watch the 'Tangerine Sea' sunrise 🌅 from bed. The public bath is on the 5th floor. It's a bit of a shame there's no open-air onsen, so you can only enjoy the view through the window while bathing. The hotel offers a shuttle service to Atami Station, but you need to book it in advance. The facilities are a bit dated, but the hygiene is still very good. Overall, it offers decent value for money."

"The room was spacious with a fantastic sea view. The breakfast leaned more towards a Japanese style. The only slight drawback was the hotel's location, which was a bit out of the way, requiring a 15-minute walk to reach the commercial area and the beach. However, the hotel's ground floor had a large convenience store and souvenir shop, both well-stocked, which somewhat made up for the slightly inconvenient location."

"The room was spacious and clean, and the hot spring bathroom was also impressively large! The owner was incredibly warm and welcoming. They proactively added me on WeChat to arrange a pick-up from the station, and as a Chinese speaker, communication was absolutely seamless. They also recommended several fantastic sightseeing spots. We were thrilled to be able to catch the seaside fireworks! I hadn't realized how hilly Atami is, so we were truly grateful for the owner's numerous pick-ups and drop-offs."

"Very comfort and big room with nice sea view. Onsen was good all the time. Location abit far and hilly from town. That will be good if you are driving. They also provide free shuttle bus go train station. Be prepare you own food before stay in if you dint get their dinner and break fast. Good chill and relaxing hotel."

"I had wanted to stay at this hotel on a previous trip to Atami, and this time I finally got to stay for a night as a stopover. The hotel covered the train fare to and from Atami Station, and as soon as I entered, I was greeted by staff. The hotel's lounge is accessible to all guests by card. The snacks offered in the afternoon and evening differ. The room was quite spacious, and the onsen bath even had a small TV. All the drinks in the mini-fridge were complimentary. In the morning, I went to the observation onsen to watch the sunrise. Although it was very cloudy, the sea view and morning glow were absolutely worth it. After the bath, there was milk and coffee milk to drink. The breakfast selection was also quite varied, and everything tasted good."

"This hotel offers stunning hilltop views of the sea, especially beautiful at night. Make sure to take a taxi from the station, as there's a very steep hill to get there. The hotel service is excellent, and the place is clean and tidy. We booked a corner room with dual-aspect windows, and it even had a bathtub. Enjoying a drink on the balcony while admiring the night view was a highlight. There's also a fantastic teppanyaki restaurant at the foot of the hill (no English menu, though) that's delicious and reasonably priced."

"The hotel is very new and has some taste of decoration. Although the room is large in size, there is no table, and everything can only be placed on the ground. The service staff can only speak simple English, the communication is not very smooth, but the service attitude is very good. There is also the hotel on the mountain, there is no convenience store around, shopping is not convenient, go out to eat and shop, go back to the hotel to climb the mountain, all the way down absolutely dead."

"I was a little worried about the price, but after reading these reviews, I made my reservation. ⚫︎Good Points ・The staff are international, and although they don't speak much, they were friendly and helpful with a smile and all my requests. ・The room, bathroom, and shared spaces were thoroughly cleaned, and the futon was fluffy! For this price, I'd normally expect to have to lay out the futon myself, but they laid it out during dinner. ・The room, restaurant, and view were great. Breakfast was especially bright and pleasant! ・Dinner wasn't very filling, but both the main and side dishes were delicious. Breakfast was served buffet-style even with only a small number of guests, and they kept replenishing it. The selection wasn't extensive, but the Japanese and Western dishes were enjoyable. Tanba milk was also appreciated. The homemade jam was delicious! ・Cleansing cream was also included as a bath amenity. ⚫︎Disappointments - The phone number listed in the email sent after booking was completely unreachable. (On the day of my stay, I had a question and called three times, but it was unreachable, which worried me.) - The front desk extension from my room and the public bath was also out of service. - Perhaps because previous reviews had mentioned a smell in the hallways, there was lavender deodorizer everywhere. Personally, I'm not a fan of artificial scents, and they lingered in my nose throughout my stay. I wish they'd at least removed the fragrance. - When I sat down for dinner, the hot dishes, rice, and miso soup were already there. Naturally, they were a little cold. This needs to be improved. Overall, the service was more than worth the price, and I enjoyed my stay! I'd love to return."

"I really loved the room and its environment, facing the sea, I could watch the sunrise every day. The facilities and hygiene conditions were pretty average. There are three public indoor and outdoor hot springs available for use. The hotel has two guest room buildings with a very long corridor in between. To get to the hot springs or dining, you need to switch between different elevators. When I first checked in, I wasn't familiar with the layout and it was easy to get lost. The dining service was good; both breakfast and dinner were buffet-style with a rich variety of food, though there were slightly fewer fruit options. During the summer, it was crowded, so there were queues to be seated and to get food."

"The hotel staff were very friendly and the interior was exceptionally nice. The view from the open-air bath was amazing, making for a very satisfying stay. I would like to stay here again if I have the opportunity to visit Atami again."
