Beautiful hotel, convenient location. Walking distance to the main shopping area, 7/11 right next door for my amenities or snacks. Lobby bar and dining area. Pool and jacuzzi was amazing, used them 2 of the full days I had there, very relaxing. Taxi services always waiting on front if you don't want to walk, I recommend walking. Would recommend the hotel to anyone travelling to Bangkok

I chose this hotel for my nephew’s first overseas trip to celebrate his secondary school graduation, and it turned out to be an excellent choice. Location: The location is fantastic—perfect for shopping, enjoying late-night meals, exploring nearby night markets, and conveniently accessing the airport via public transportation. Cleanliness: The room was spotless, well-organized, and very comfortable. Importantly, there were no bugs at all, which was a top priority for me. Towels were refreshed daily, which I really appreciated. Facilities & Amenities: The hotel was incredibly thoughtful with its offerings. Complimentary bottled water was provided both in the fridge and on the desk. In addition, they replenished items like coke, tea, coffee, and even cup noodles every day. Everything was neatly arranged and showed great attention to detail. Breakfast: There was a wide variety of options, including delicious traditional Thai dishes, which I really enjoyed. Even my nephew, who is quite a picky eater, was able to find plenty of food he liked. Staff: The staff were exceptionally friendly, professional, and knowledgeable. Both check-in and check-out processes were smooth and efficient. Overall, it was a very pleasant stay and a memorable experience for our special trip.

Considering many hostels have strict check-in and check-out times, the 24-hour front desk at Tongle was a huge convenience for me, especially as a red-eye flight passenger. I had to leave for the airport at 5 AM, and the Thai gentleman at the front desk was still smiling and quickly helped me check out. I'm really grateful to him; he basically helped me with all my requests during my stay and always had a smile on his face.

During my recent stay, I was immediately struck by the hotel’s minimalist yet warm aesthetic. Nestled in a quiet alley just a 7-10 minute walk from the Ratchathewi BTS Station, it offers a peaceful retreat while keeping the bustling energy of Siam and Pratunam within easy reach. Comfortable Rooms & Exceptional Sleep The highlight of the room was undoubtedly the sleep quality. The mattress and pillows are exceptionally plush—often cited by guests as some of the most comfortable in Bangkok. My room was immaculately clean and thoughtfully designed with: • Smart TV for easy streaming. • Reliable, high-speed WiFi. • Daily housekeeping that maintained a high standard of hygiene. Seamless Service & Thoughtful Amenities The hospitality here feels genuine. The staff are incredibly accommodating, and the free electric tuk-tuk shuttle to the BTS station is a lifesaver in the Bangkok heat. Other appreciated touches included the 24/7 complimentary coffee/tea station in the lobby and the convenient luggage-weighing scale—perfect for those planning a shopping spree at nearby MBK or Platinum Fashion Mall. Location & Local Vibe While the hotel is in a ”slower” part of the district, stepping around the corner reveals a vibrant local scene. There are multiple 7-Elevens nearby and an abundance of affordable street food stalls and massage shops that provide a much more authentic experience than the typical tourist traps. Minor Considerations • Space: Like many boutique hotels in central Bangkok, the rooms (especially the Smart King) are cozy. If you have large suitcases, you might find it a bit tight. • Sound: Soundproofing could be improved, as noise from the hallway can occasionally drift into the room. Overall Verdict: With its stylish design, superb breakfast buffet, and top-tier service, VELA be Bangkok Ratchathewi offers incredible value for money. It is an ideal choice for travelers who want to be near the city center without sacrificing the quiet, local feel of a traditional neighborhood. I would certainly return for those pillows alone!

The location is fantastic: there's a 7-Eleven, a metro station, and Samyan Mitrtown shopping mall right downstairs. There's an ice cream shop called SWE there that's absolutely delicious. It's about a 15-minute walk to Chula Night Market, and tuk-tuks are readily available right outside. Getting a taxi is also very convenient, and the area isn't too congested. You can walk to Central World and the largest Big C in about 30 minutes, or get there by taxi in 10 minutes. Service was excellent: The staff spoke a little Chinese, and they even prepared the honeymoon decorations I requested in the confirmation email. Helpful tip: No smoking inside the room. You can go to the 11th floor, where you can see the Pixel Building – it's a great high-altitude view.

Staffs were very nice. The hotel is nearby metro station (samyan mrt station), just 2-3 mins by walk. There is also department store nearby.

The location is excellent, with plenty of great restaurants nearby, and the massage parlor next door is also very good. The hotel itself has a pleasant environment, complete with a swimming pool, gym, and restaurant, making it incredibly convenient. The price is reasonable, offering great value for money.

I really enjoyed my stay at 56 Surawong Hotel. The location is excellent — within walking distance to the train and right in the heart of Silom where everything is happening. The staff were very friendly and always helpful, whether I needed an iron or anything else during my stay. If I had to mention one small improvement, the open shower design means water can get all over the bathroom floor. Other than that, everything was great. I would definitely stay here again!

My sister and I chose this hotel for our first trip to Bangkok, and it certainly didn't disappoint! The front desk staff spoke excellent Chinese, making communication a breeze, and they even allowed us to check in early. The other staff members were also incredibly attentive and helpful, always offering to assist with our luggage and guide us. On the day we left, we met what seemed to be their manager, and everyone was so polite, greeting us warmly. When our taxi arrived, the staff waved us goodbye with big smiles, saying 'Bye-bye' until we drove off. The location is also super convenient, close to MBK and Chulalongkorn University. My choice was definitely spot-on! I'll be bringing my friends to stay here next time. A big thank you to all the staff! See you next time! 😘
