The staff are very helpful, and help tou to get transport. There is a good coffee shop, supermarket and many 7/11's, so lots of choices for shops and snacks. The breakfast was good and tje hotel restaurant and room service was also very good. A very comfortable bed and the shower was great with nice air con, over all a great first 3 days in Bangkok.

A short but lovely stay 🤍 Clean, modern, and feels more luxurious than expected. The beddings were super comfortable—perfect for a good night’s rest. Loved the rooftop vibe too, such a nice spot to unwind in the evening. Great value overall, would definitely stay again.

The facilities are excellent, with an outdoor pool and a gym. We stayed in a two-room suite, and everything was great except for the electricity only working when the door was closed. The environment is beautiful, especially the pool, with the light rail visible across the way. There's a 7-Eleven nearby, which is very convenient for shopping.

This stay was truly excellent. The room environment was great, and it was especially quiet, so I wasn't disturbed at all during the night. The bed was very comfortable, ensuring a sound sleep, and the room was meticulously clean.
The hotel's security is also top-notch; you need a key card to access the elevators, which made me feel very safe. The staff were incredibly friendly and enthusiastic, always ready to help promptly with any issues. The towels were of good quality and felt very comfortable to use. The in-room refrigerator had a practical two-tier design with separate fridge and freezer compartments, which was really useful. The overall decor was modern and cozy, and all the facilities and amenities were brand new – absolutely superb.
Downstairs, there's a barbecue and late-night snacks available in the evening, and they taste great, so you never have to worry about going hungry. There's also a 7-Eleven convenience store nearby, which is super handy for buying things, and it's quite close to the commercial district as well, offering a complete range of amenities.
Overall, I was very satisfied with my stay. It was safe, quiet, and comfortable. I would definitely consider staying here again.

We stayed at the hotel with the whole family: 2 adults and two children, and we really enjoyed our stay. Breakfast is very important to us, and here it was really good: there's an egg station, yogurts, fresh greens and vegetables, waffles, pancakes, lots of pastries and desserts. I missed a bit of variety in the tea selection, and the coffee quality could be improved, but in all other aspects, the breakfast was varied, fresh, and tasty. The soundproofing in the rooms I would rate 7/10; you can slightly hear what's happening in the hallway, but it doesn't disturb sleep. We also liked the spa, although the sauna in the women's changing room was turned off, and unfortunately, there was no one at the spa reception for 2 hours to ask to turn it on. The pool is cool, but since it was 33 degrees outside, it was pleasant to swim in. The hotel has a large, secure parking lot where we left our car for the entire stay. Transport accessibility is very good. They have installed new elevators, so there are no issues with them now. We happened to be there for Chinese New Year and saw a performance that took place in the lobby on the first floor. We really liked it and would be happy to return here again.

The hotel is a 45-minute taxi ride from the airport. The nearest MRT station, Kaleang, is shown as 1.2 km on the map, but it actually took us over half an hour to walk there, so I'd recommend taking a taxi.
The hotel staff were all incredibly friendly: when we left for an early flight at 4:30 AM, we asked the hotel to prepare breakfast boxes for us in advance. They thoughtfully packed fruit, bread, and juice. The lobby boy always helped with our luggage with a genuine smile.
The hotel breakfast was extensive, and the à la carte dishes were also delicious. I couldn't get enough of the Thai specialties like the green papaya salad. Excellent value for money!

1. I chose this hotel's family room for our trip with the kids after comparing a few options. I requested a quiet, high-floor room in advance, and they put us on the 24th floor, in a room furthest from the street, so we didn't hear any noise during our nine-day stay.
2. The cleanliness definitely needs improvement. The corners and hidden spots weren't cleaned properly, especially the shelf where the slippers are kept; dust and hair were very noticeable. The cleaning staff are mostly from Myanmar, and if you have any requests, you can use a translation app to show them, like asking for extra water.
3. The free coffee in the hotel lobby is a big plus. Also, the designated smoking area outside the hotel with seating is a thoughtful touch.
4. The hotel's location is actually quite good. There's a 7-Eleven right across the street, and if you walk a bit further and turn left for two minutes, you'll reach the MRT station and Central Plaza Rama 9. For dining, there are options on the basement level and the sixth floor. You can also exchange money and top up your phone on the fifth floor.
I've read many negative reviews from Chinese guests, and it's true that a very high percentage of guests are Chinese, though there are also local, Japanese, and Korean guests. There were almost no Westerners. The lobby often has many fellow Chinese guests sitting around, applying makeup and eating, but overall, it's still relatively quiet.

1. **Guest Rooms:** Recently renovated by Tony Chi, the rooms are elegant and comfortable with high-quality linens and excellent soundproofing. Some entry-level room sizes are a bit compact for a city-center hotel. Welcome fruits and well-stocked toiletries are provided.
2. **Dining:** Breakfast offers a good variety (Thai + Western). Erawan Tea Room is a Michelin-recommended Thai restaurant, and the Executive Lounge service is consistently good. Some restaurant prices are on the higher side.

GGuest UserThis is the most complete hostel I've ever been to. There are six floors with several balconies and all of it remains spotless. The common areas are awesome. The river view is amazing I look forward to seeing the fireworks on the river every time. The staff are friendly and accomodating and there are more than enough bathrooms and showers for everybody here. I don't have anything to complain about, I like it a lot here

AAlexTannThis hotel was the last stop on our trip to Thailand. Compared to The Nai Harn, it felt grander and more business-oriented, which was evident from the breakfast spread – definitely geared more towards business travelers. We stayed on the executive floor, though it wasn't an executive room itself... which I found a bit odd. The hotel's decor has a retro, old-fashioned vibe, making it feel less like a holiday retreat for me personally. However, these weren't major issues. The staff's service attitude was consistently excellent. The main pool was quite busy, possibly because two youth football teams were staying there, so there were lots of people playing and having fun. It was still a good experience overall.

KKantabuliyazhangchangzongI was quite hesitant about this hotel after reading the reviews, but after staying there, I can say its location is excellent, right by the river. The biggest selling point is definitely the riverside access, especially the free shuttle boat. This shuttle can take you to S-pier, which connects to all the major blue and orange line attractions. Taking the metro isn't the most convenient option, but you can also get to S-pier and transfer there. From my window, I could see the Ferris wheel, and there's a night market right downstairs. However, the shuttle service ends at 9 PM, which is a big drawback, as it's about a 5-minute walk from there. Also, if you're close to the river at night, you might hear the rumble of boats in the middle of the night.
While the hotel facilities are a bit old, they're not dirty. I loved the bed – it was incredibly soft and comfortable; I honestly didn't want to get up! The beds are huge. Even though they're single beds, two pushed together are bigger than beds in China, easily sleeping three people. I skipped the hotel breakfast as I'd already spent a lot of money these past few days. In the afternoon, there's hot coffee in the lobby, which is a nice touch (though it's the only one). They also have iced water, chrysanthemum tea, and roselle tea, plus some biscuits. In the mornings, there are croissants and hot coffee that you can take with you. It's like a simple meal, and it's not bad at all. One of the front desk staff speaks Chinese, so communication wasn't an issue.
The hotel requires a deposit, as it's a major international brand. The bottled water in the room is complimentary and NSF certified, so feel free to drink up. The razor provided was quite good, and the water pressure in the shower was strong. From 9:30 PM to 10:00 PM, there's a singer performing in the lobby, which you can discreetly listen to. There's also legitimate massage available outside. If you get hungry at night, there's a 7-Eleven and some street food stalls about 50 to 100 meters away. I wouldn't say the food is amazing or terrible, but you can try the oyster omelet. As for the swimming pool, it's actually quite nice, being on the first floor and very spacious. If your main goal is to explore along the river, this hotel is perfect. However, if you're looking to frequent places like Nana, this location might not be ideal.

GGuest UserI spent 17 nights at this hotel and couldn’t be happier with my choice for a remote work and vacation stay. The room has a spacious desk where I could work comfortably, and the internet speed was consistently fast. The bed was also very comfortable. I had no trouble falling asleep at all. I’d say it’s on par with the bed at Parkroyal Collection Pickering in Singapore. The room was clean and a decent size, and the shower had strong water pressure. Locationwise, it’s about a 20-minute walk to Sala Daeng BTS or Lumphini MRT. While it may not be very close to public transport for some, one of the best things about the location is that it’s surrounded by many great restaurants to suit different budgets. In fact, the best Pad Thai I’ve ever had is just a five-minute walk from the hotel.Special thanks to Mr. Kelly from the reception team for providing exceptional service and helping me with any issues during my stay.

EExpat EDventuresWe had a very pleasant stay at Somerset Sukhumvit 71 Bangkok. Check-in was easy and smooth with welcome infused water, and the on-site café was excellent, with delicious breakfast pastries. The beds were firm and clean, the room was comfortable, and housekeeping did a great job cleaning and making our beds daily. We also appreciated that both of our rooms were booked next to each other, which made travelling as a family much easier. Our fourteen-year-old’s bed was already made up upon arrival, which was a thoughtful touch.
John, the concierge, was outstanding. He managed to book a same-day bike tour for our family of six and also kindly arranged our airport transfer. His service truly stood out and made our stay even better.
Our only disappointment was New Year’s Eve. We had planned to ring in the new year at the rooftop venue, but it was fully booked. I had messaged the hotel in advance through the Trip app but didn’t receive a response. Instead, we followed a restaurant recommendation from the front desk, only to arrive 56 minutes before closing and be told the kitchen was already closed. Two other nearby restaurants were also closed, so we ended up grabbing snacks from the 7-Eleven across the street. The hotel kindly unlocked our balcony so we could at least watch the fireworks from our room.
The rooftop restaurant is beautiful, and the pool area is also very nice, although the water was quite cold, so we didn’t swim. The location is a bit far out, but overall, we enjoyed our stay so much that we extended it and booked a third night. A great hotel with excellent service, especially from the concierge, and we would happily stay again.

There's also a connected walkway from the second floor of the adjacent EmSphere mall, so you don't have to walk in the sun. The surrounding area is lively, with plenty of food, entertainment, supermarkets, convenience stores, massage places, and malls – very convenient. It's also only about a 10-minute walk to Asok station and Terminal 21. The hotel is a bit old, and the facilities and decor are a bit dated, but it's generally clean and tidy, and the service is warm and friendly.

Cons
The rooms are very outdated. Furniture, walls, corners, and the bathroom show visible wear and damage. The rooms clearly need renovation.
The photos on the listing do not reflect the current condition of the rooms. They look much newer than they actually are.
A stove was listed as an amenity, but in reality it was not usable — it was covered with a fixed wooden panel and could not be opened.
There is no tea or coffee in the room, despite a coffee machine being shown in the photos. Tea is available at the reception during daytime only.
The air conditioner is very noisy. It is controlled via a wall panel (no remote control) with limited settings, and even on the lowest mode the noise is noticeable.
There is no ventilation fan in the bathroom, so steam stays in the room after showering unless the door is opened.
The TV offers only Thai channels. There is no Smart TV and no option to connect a phone.
The kitchen area has a sink, cabinets, and basic dishes, but it is not functional due to the lack of a stove.
Despite cleaning, the room looks visually worn because of the overall condition of the walls and ceiling.
Pros
The bed is comfortable, with two pillows per person.
Clean bed linen.
The bathroom was clean, with good water pressure.
The room includes a new hairdryer, a refrigerator, dishes, and cutlery.
There is a balcony facing the courtyard, where smoking is allowed.
The staff were polite and helpful. The receptionist spoke good English and explained everything clearly, and the housekeeping staff were also very friendly.
The hotel provides a golf cart shuttle to nearby shopping malls.
The location is convenient, close to M-Sphere, Emporium, and the M District, which was the main reason we chose this hotel.
Overall
Suitable for a short stay of one night.
The main drawback is the outdated rooms and mismatch with the photos.
The location and staff are the hotel’s strongest points.

В номере была заявлена плита, но фактически она отсутствовала — была закрыта и зафиксирована деревянной панелью, воспользоваться ею невозможно.
В номере нет чая и кофе, несмотря на то, что на фотографиях присутствует кофемашина. Чай можно взять на ресепшене в дневное время.
Кондиционер шумный, работает без переносного пульта, управление осуществляется с настенного блока с ограниченным количеством режимов. Даже на минимальном режиме шум заметный.
В туалете нет вытяжки, после душа пар остаётся в комнате, уходит только при открытой двери.
Телевизор показывает только тайские каналы, Smart TV отсутствует, подключение телефона невозможно.
Кухонная зона оборудована раковиной, шкафчиками и посудой, но нефункциональна из-за отсутствия плиты.
Из-за общего износа поверхностей номер визуально выглядит неаккуратно, несмотря на уборку.

Ванная комната была чистой, хороший напор воды.
В номере есть новый фен, холодильник, посуда и столовые приборы.
Есть балкон, выходящий во двор, на котором можно курить.
Вежливый и отзывчивый персонал: девушка на ресепшене хорошо говорит по-английски и подробно всё объясняет, горничные также оставили приятное впечатление.
Предоставляется гольф-кар трансфер до ближайших торговых центров.
Удобное расположение рядом с M-Sphere, Emporium и M-кварталом, что было основной причиной выбора отеля.

Подходит для краткой остановки на одну ночь.

AAnonymous UserA good location for travellers looking for a quieter neighbourhood compared to the usual sukhumvit experience, but I wouldn’t stay here again.
1. Gets really inaccesible to convenience stores (they do sell limited options of snacks - at a surcharge of course)
2. Engaged their laundry services, almost couldn’t get it back and wanted to bill me an additional fee to get it back in time for me to checkout and catch my flight. Turns out one of my pants was damaged along the way but made no comments about it till I found out. Didn’t pursue this matter as I have to catch a flight, no time to look for resolutions.
3. Was back at the hotel one of the days slightly earlier at 4:30pm, to my dismay the room wasn’t cleaned, the crew only came by at 5:30pm and offered to clean the room but it wasn’t convenient for me (I was half asleep too). Subsequently took a mental note that I can’t be back at the hotel till at least 7pm if I need my room to be cleaned
Your experience may vary, but certainly not one of the experience I was thinking I would received.

DDezhengjianxiuI stayed here ten years ago when I first visited Bangkok, and it's still great! The room is huge, and it's incredibly quiet at night. There's a bus stop right downstairs, and it's not too far from the Sala Daeng BTS station. The breakfast menu changed daily, which was a nice touch, and overall it was a very comfortable stay. My only minor complaint is that they didn't change the bedsheets during my 7-day stay. The hotel is right next to the Mahanakhon Pixel Tower, and the 20th floor offers a fantastic spot for photos.
