"I couldn't be happier with this apartment! Its location is absolutely unbeatable; it's practically built right on top of a subway station. You can even walk directly to The MixC Mall through a sky garden. With Subway Lines 2 and 3 right downstairs, you get direct access to the subway without even stepping onto the street, making travel incredibly convenient for reaching all the tourist spots. The room itself was fully equipped. The shower pressure was fantastic and super effective – after a long day of sightseeing, coming back and enjoying a wonderfully refreshing hot shower was just what I needed! The concierge service was exceptional. They thoughtfully provided detailed routes to various attractions and excellent dining recommendations. Highly recommend!"

"For my trip to Qingdao, I was looking for a hotel with convenient access to transportation, shopping, and dining. After reading numerous traveler reviews, I opted for the newly opened Qingdao Yihai Garden Hotel (May Fourth Square branch). The room was spacious, bright, and comfortable, and the cleanliness was also quite good. The facilities were comprehensive. Although there wasn't a direct sea view, the city lights at night were still dazzling. Breakfast was plentiful, offering local specialty snacks that tasted great. Even with many guests staying, everything remained quite orderly. A notable feature: The laundry room was a very popular spot, often with queues forming. The hotel site originally served as the Qingdao Workers' Sanatorium, which I personally believe contributes to its 'quiet oasis in a bustling city' feel. Downside: As some other guests have mentioned, the shower water temperature would occasionally fluctuate between hot and cold, and the water spray was too dispersed. I hope this can be improved."

"The hotel boasts an excellent location, in a bustling area very close to May Fourth Square and the seaside. It's also only about 100 meters from the subway station, making it super convenient to reach nearby attractions either directly or with a transfer. The staff were very warm and friendly; we even received a small gift and fruit upon arrival, and a box of cookies when checking out. Our room was on the 17th floor, on the side, and the window offered a decent, clear view, with beautiful city lights at night. Although the room facilities felt a bit dated, they were thankfully clean and tidy. The toiletries and towels were all sealed, which gave us peace of mind regarding hygiene. The bathroom was fairly clean, and the toilet even came with a disposable seat cover, which was a thoughtful touch. However, the plant in the bathroom, a green radish, looked a bit withered, and the water in its bottle was foul-smelling with some root rot. It seemed the cleaning staff hadn't paid attention to it for a long time. I changed the water myself. I think if a hotel has plants, they should regularly check the water quality. The hotel breakfast was quite rich. The only issue was on our check-out day. We returned to the hotel a bit late, past the 12 PM check-out time, and inexplicably couldn't get back into our room as the card wouldn't work. Luckily, a cleaning aunt happened to be there and contacted the front desk staff, who helped us open the door to retrieve our luggage. Locking us out without any prior phone communication felt a bit impersonal and not very customer-friendly. Other than that, everything else was okay!"

"The mattress was completely sagged, and I woke up with a backache. The automatic curtains were broken, and there was a gap between the two windows, so the first rays of morning sun were blinding. Sleeping in was out of the question. Of course, this is probably fair given the price point. I must specifically thank the gentleman from Mu She for giving me a stark reality check. It's truly our own fault. You placed the complimentary water and the chargeable water right next to each other, with the price clearly marked on the bottle cap (as you, the Mu She team, pointed out). We simply didn't read it carefully. My sincere apologies. 8 RMB for a large bottle of water isn't expensive at all. It's just that we haven't had to pay for water in a hotel for so long, so our vigilance was low. Please forgive our oversight. Of course, it's not entirely our fault either. Major hotels like the Four Seasons usually provide complimentary water and beverages in the rooms, so we've admittedly been spoiled by them. Therefore, when we received a call about a charge after checking out, we really shouldn't have felt annoyed. When I asked for the manager to call back, I didn't clarify if I was actually speaking to one and ended up venting for ages to just an employee. My sincere apologies for making the person who called unhappy. As humble consumers, that was truly out of line. I genuinely apologize here. As you rightly pointed out, you don't want to constantly arrange water and do all that work, only to then have to listen to me throw a tantrum. We really can't afford to cross 'the working man' who's just doing his job. However, at the time, I genuinely believed I was speaking to the manager, someone authorized to receive customer feedback. My apologies for not clarifying beforehand, and I sincerely apologize again. You did offer to waive the charge for the water, but I insisted on paying. As you rightly said, I consumed it, so shouldn't I pay? Absolutely, there's no question about it. So I paid for it. Thank you, Mu She, for teaching us a valuable lesson. Once again, I apologize for our impetuousness. It was truly inappropriate to get upset and complain, even when I felt like I'd swallowed a fly. A humble consumer shouldn't get so angry. Paying for water? That's simply how it should be."

"This was our third stay at the Wyndham during our 8-day trip to Shandong Peninsula. My daughter absolutely loves it, especially for its small petting zoo. We checked in after 10 PM, and Manager Cao Bo was incredibly helpful, upgrading our room and providing a complimentary children's breakfast. We did encounter a minor issue during breakfast, but the restaurant manager (Zhang) and a short-haired female manager at the front desk handled our feedback exceptionally well and resolved it to our full satisfaction. Even though the problem originated with an individual staff member, the hotel's dedication to providing impeccable customer service as its top priority truly shone through, which was incredibly reassuring. Should we get another chance to visit Shandong, Wyndham will definitely be our first choice again."

"Staying here for a night with a deluxe room at 20th.floor where there's a slight corner sea view. love it!. The only downside is the wooden floor is a bit dusty. food served for the celebrity buffet and morning breakfast are delicious and lots of varieties. Overall is a pleasant stay at MGM Qingdao. will definitely be my priority choice for next visit to Qingdao."

"I'm a bit directionally challenged, but the location was easy to find. It's right before the 618 return trip to Lingnan, and across from the beach. The room was nice, with excellent bedding and cleanliness. There's a seafood restaurant nearby. We bought dinner, and as night fell, we enjoyed the terrace, the ocean view, and dinner. The atmosphere was perfect. I've longed for a seaside life since I was a child, and this time I finally got to see the mountains and the sea without getting lost in the crowds."

"The room is clean and the environment is nice. You need to take a taxi to the scenic area service point. It's very close to the beach, and there are a lot of food nearby, and the taste is pretty good. The hotel is self-managed, and it is not very convenient to find someone when you need something. They do not provide bottled drinking water, and they say the water in the pipes is purified Laoshan spring water. The service is rather rough and the person who contacts you speaks loudly, which is probably the habit of the locals. But the room and rooftop are nice."

"Went for a weekend trip with my partner. We wanted a place that is central to visit the mountain area (with the fishing village etc) and the beach. It’s quite far away if you plan to take transport but by taxi it’s okay. In China location is key since every city is so big. The hotel amenities however are incredible and so is the staff."

"The room is large, very new, very clean, and the bed is comfortable, which is the biggest advantage of this time. The location is close to the beach, the service staff is very good, and you can borrow an umbrella when it rains. The corner of the room on the second floor is at the intersection of traffic jams. The sound of pedestrians and vehicle horns will wake up in the morning. The most regrettable thing is that more than a thousand rooms do not include breakfast. I have not seen people eating breakfast on the first floor for a few days. I am worried about what to eat every morning. I can order takeaway and go to the takeaway cabinet on the first floor. Very inconvenient."
