"I traveled with my father and booked two double rooms, both near the road, which were a bit noisy. We arrived at the restaurant at 7:30 am, and it was packed with people. There were no seats, so we had to make do with a bowl of noodles and come back later. When we went back, we had to show our meal tickets. Luckily, there were two of us, so we had four meal tickets for the two double rooms, otherwise we wouldn't have been able to have breakfast. The TV was out of service. The hotel was very clean and well-maintained. Overall, I think this is the best hotel in Xiahe. If you want a more comfortable stay, this hotel is quite good. It's not far to walk to Labrang Monastery. Parking is free at the hotel, so you don't need to drive to the scenic area's parking lot. The price-performance ratio is quite good."

"This hotel brought me a very satisfactory stay experience. The hotel is comfortably decorated, reasonably laid out and quite stylish. The front desk guidance service is in place, and the accommodation environment is quiet at night. The hotel is in a very advantageous location, and Labrang Monastery can be reached in a few minutes. The spacious lobby, elegant environment, thoughtful front desk service, fast check-in, complete facilities in the room, comfortable beds, and free late check-out service are also provided. It's really good👍👍👍"

"The rooms are well equipped and the room service and restaurant service are satisfactory. Two problems: First, the room temperature was too high, about 30 degrees, and there was no temperature control. I reported this to the hotel, and they said that the heating temperature in Xiahe is always that high and the hotel cannot control it. We opened the windows and drew the curtains, but didn't dare turn on the lights because there was a hotel across the street. We couldn't fall asleep in bed at all. It felt like we were in a scorching hot room with no ventilation or air conditioning. It was minus 14 degrees outside, but it was suffocatingly hot inside! We, an elder who was almost 70 years old, had to travel the next day, so we didn't sleep the whole night and just endured the scorching heat."

"The hotel front desk is very polite and courteous, and the service attitude is particularly good!
I went to take the exam and saw the blessing message at the door before entering the interview. I only stayed for one day because I had to take the exam the next afternoon. I coordinated with the front desk to delay the check-out and the front desk agreed to the request without any objection. I am really grateful. I wish our Lingcheng will get better and better. I will stay at your house next time! (A suggestion, there is a not very good smell when the hotel room door is opened, so get some air freshener)

"The service was so warm. They even presented us with Hada after we arrived. We were the only family staying in the hotel during the off-season in winter, but the service was not slack at all. The boss turned on the heating in our room in advance and prepared fresh yak yogurt, snacks and many other things. He really cared about us. I originally wanted to eat in the county town, but I ate directly in the hotel, which was also very good.
The whole manor is very large. It is recommended that everyone stay here during the peak season. We will come again."

"My trip to Gannan ended, and I've been home for two days now. I have to add this belated review today.
Location and Natural Beauty
The hotel is nestled on the edge of the Sangke Grassland, offering vast grassland scenery as soon as you step out the door. On our check-in day, the welcoming owner offered to take us for a walk by a nearby stream. Verdant grass lay beneath our feet, dotted with wildflowers, the stream gurgled, and in the distance, cattle and sheep strolled leisurely. It felt like stepping into an untouched natural landscape. This immersive experience, detached from the hustle and bustle of life, was one of the greatest surprises of the trip.
Service is in the Details
What touched us most was the owner's thoughtfulness. Due to our tight schedule the next day, we planned to depart at 7:30 AM. We had planned to skip breakfast, but the owner specifically inquired about our departure time the night before and prepared a hot breakfast the next morning. Bread, milk tea, and side dishes...the simple fare held the most simple warmth, making us feel like family on a cool morning. This selfless enthusiasm far exceeds expectations of ”hotel service.”

"This hotel was the most expensive one we booked during our trip to Gannan, but the experience was quite average.
1) The family room bathroom had clear glass. Even with the reflection, you could still clearly see inside the toilet and bathroom from outside (Image 1).
2) The windowsills were covered in dust (Image 2).
3) There were spiderwebs under the ceiling lights (Images 3 and 4).
4) There was no light switch near the bed; you had to walk to the door to turn it on and off, which was very inconvenient."

"Highly recommended! I think this B&B is the best in Xiahe County!
The room was fully equipped and fully intelligent. It had a smart toilet, a temperature-controlled showerhead, a hair dryer, and all the necessary toiletries (a razor, toothbrush, and disposable toilet seat)—it was truly complete! It was actually quite warm at night, even a little hot. I didn't take any photos of the room, but it was exactly as shown.
The sheets and pillowcases were spotless, and the room was spotless, with separate wet and dry areas.
The owner was incredibly welcoming! They were so kind! They even gave me an umbrella when we went out to eat on a rainy day, and even called us to pick us up if we couldn't get a taxi. I was so touched! 🥹 The hot pot restaurant they recommended was also delicious and highly recommended (I forgot the name, but feel free to ask if you're interested). The lamb and beef were incredibly fresh! Even if you eat a lot, you won't feel greasy!
In short, feel free to come! It's also quite close to Labrang, so you have to drive."

GGuest UserDuring the holiday, Gannan tourism is hot and one room is difficult to find. The price of the homestay is conscience, the boss is warm and caring, and the guests are still waiting at the intersection on the rainy night to help with the luggage. I am really touched. Very cost-effective homestay, I wish the boss a prosperous business!

MMaRin16It was my first time to come to the vicinity of Xiahe County. The boss brothers were super, super nice. The environment where we stayed was a new hotel, which was in no way inferior to other high-end hotels. I sincerely recommend that if you come to Gannan for a visit, you should choose their hotel!
