"This guesthouse is very near Labrang Monastery, within 5 mins walking. It stands in a small street next to the Xia river. There're many restaurants around, both western and local food. The hosts were very friendly and kind. Our room was on the second floor and they helped us to lift our luggage upstairs. Downstairs is a restaurant you can enjoy easy meal and good coffee/tea. The decoration is nice. The house is bright and the air flow is great. There're spots both upstairs and downstairs to sit to relax. And if you add their WeChat they would answer every question quickly. The bus station is around 1.5 km away. You can walk easily there and with taxi it costs only 2 yuan per person."

"I traveled with my father and booked two double rooms, both near the road, which were a bit noisy. We arrived at the restaurant at 7:30 am, and it was packed with people. There were no seats, so we had to make do with a bowl of noodles and come back later. When we went back, we had to show our meal tickets. Luckily, there were two of us, so we had four meal tickets for the two double rooms, otherwise we wouldn't have been able to have breakfast. The TV was out of service. The hotel was very clean and well-maintained. Overall, I think this is the best hotel in Xiahe. If you want a more comfortable stay, this hotel is quite good. It's not far to walk to Labrang Monastery. Parking is free at the hotel, so you don't need to drive to the scenic area's parking lot. The price-performance ratio is quite good."

"Highly recommended! I think this B&B is the best in Xiahe County!
The room was fully equipped and fully intelligent. It had a smart toilet, a temperature-controlled showerhead, a hair dryer, and all the necessary toiletries (a razor, toothbrush, and disposable toilet seat)—it was truly complete! It was actually quite warm at night, even a little hot. I didn't take any photos of the room, but it was exactly as shown.
The sheets and pillowcases were spotless, and the room was spotless, with separate wet and dry areas.
The owner was incredibly welcoming! They were so kind! They even gave me an umbrella when we went out to eat on a rainy day, and even called us to pick us up if we couldn't get a taxi. I was so touched! 🥹 The hot pot restaurant they recommended was also delicious and highly recommended (I forgot the name, but feel free to ask if you're interested). The lamb and beef were incredibly fresh! Even if you eat a lot, you won't feel greasy!
In short, feel free to come! It's also quite close to Labrang, so you have to drive."

"The homestay is on the edge of the grassland (accurate navigation), with grassland and rolling mountains at the door. There are flocks of sheep passing by the camp, and in the distance, groups of yaks and horses are walking under the blue sky and white clouds. Sitting on the wooden terrace, drinking hot milk tea and watching the sheep and cattle, it seems like being in an idyllic world like an oil painting. The most surprising thing is that on a clear night, the Milky Way crosses the sky like a bright ribbon. It is the first time I see the Milky Way with my naked eyes! This starry sky feast that is hard to find in the city is unforgettable.
Although it is a grassland tent camp, the facilities are far beyond expectations: 24-hour constant temperature hot water, dry and wet separation bathroom, and electric heaters that continue to heat all night completely dispel the chill of the plateau. The ******* staff sisters smiled very brightly and sincerely. They not only helped us move our luggage to the entrance of the tent, but also sent extra mineral water and helped us contact the surrounding herdsmen to help us experience horseback riding. Jjingand7A big surprise on Gannan Central Network is Nanlagengga B&B. We have stayed in many hotels and B&Bs, and Nanlagengga is really great. The ******* young man Tashi gave us a full sense of ritual (no spoilers, I have the opportunity to experience it myself). The room is large and comfortable, and the hygiene is very good. The ******* pattern carpets are very exquisite and beautiful. It was our first time to enter the ******* area and the experience was great. Most importantly, I was deeply moved by young man Tashi’s faith and great love. This experience is so unforgettable for me, Tashi said, ”Every time we put our hands together, you are there” ~ The young man likes to play football and wants to go cycling under the Swiss Alps... A boss who has dreams, faith and treats people with sincerity is such a boss A B&B run with care, you will come back again and again! Looking forward to seeing you next time. come on! They gave me a bike to cycle to the grasslands and did my washing for free! Also dropped me at the bus station. So kind and lovely. And the owner speaks perfect English.

Location and Natural Beauty
The hotel is nestled on the edge of the Sangke Grassland, offering vast grassland scenery as soon as you step out the door. On our check-in day, the welcoming owner offered to take us for a walk by a nearby stream. Verdant grass lay beneath our feet, dotted with wildflowers, the stream gurgled, and in the distance, cattle and sheep strolled leisurely. It felt like stepping into an untouched natural landscape. This immersive experience, detached from the hustle and bustle of life, was one of the greatest surprises of the trip.
Service is in the Details
What touched us most was the owner's thoughtfulness. Due to our tight schedule the next day, we planned to depart at 7:30 AM. We had planned to skip breakfast, but the owner specifically inquired about our departure time the night before and prepared a hot breakfast the next morning. Bread, milk tea, and side dishes...the simple fare held the most simple warmth, making us feel like family on a cool morning. This selfless enthusiasm far exceeds expectations of ”hotel service.”

There are restaurants and supermarkets just outside the door, which is very convenient and worth recommending. GGuest UserThe homestay is in the center of the attraction, with a wide view and beautiful scenery. The room is clean and tidy. The parent-child room I chose is two floors. There are 3 buildings. There is a separate bathroom electronic toilet, hot water supply, low temperature at night, electric heaters and electric blankets, but the bathroom is on the first floor. Go to the second floor from the outside stairs. I want to go to the toilet in the middle of the night and go down to the first floor. It’s cold. And we chose the room late, and the divided family room is very close to the public toilet. This is the only thing that is not satisfied. You can eat in the yard. It is a small hot pot with yak beef. If you are high on the first day, it is recommended to eat less meat.

Two problems: First, the room temperature was too high, about 30 degrees, and there was no temperature control. I reported this to the hotel, and they said that the heating temperature in Xiahe is always that high and the hotel cannot control it. We opened the windows and drew the curtains, but didn't dare turn on the lights because there was a hotel across the street. We couldn't fall asleep in bed at all. It felt like we were in a scorching hot room with no ventilation or air conditioning. It was minus 14 degrees outside, but it was suffocatingly hot inside! We, an elder who was almost 70 years old, had to travel the next day, so we didn't sleep the whole night and just endured the scorching heat.
