"If you are still looking for a hotel in Guilin, you can stop searching I rarely write such detailed reviews but this place really deserves it Everything here is amazing - from the location to the service. Every little detail is carefully thought out to make your stay comfortable, relaxing, and stress-free The staff impressed me the most. They notice small details and truly care about guests. At first, I was surprised that even staff members I had never met before already knew my room number. It was a little funny and unexpected 😄 But like this you understand the high level of the service Everyone was so kind to me and always ready to help 🥺 Even if someone doesn’t speak English, they quickly use a translator and do their best to solve any problem The room is beautiful and very comfortable. The bed and pillows are probably one of my favorite parts of the stay - I honestly did not want to leave them! The room has everything you need for a relaxing stay, including nice Chinese tea, coffee, and many small details that make you feel at home like bath salt. Another very useful detail for travelers is the free self-service laundry. When you travel for a longer time, having a place where you can easily wash your clothes is a huge advantage The breakfast was also a wonderful surprise. While traveling around China, I often found that hotel breakfasts were mostly focused on Chinese food, which can sometimes be difficult for international travelers. Here, there is also a great Western breakfast with enough choices Another amazing part is the number of complimentary experiences included in the stay. Fresh fruits every day, afternoon drinks with desserts, cultural activities, and more. Sometimes there are so many things to enjoy that you don’t even want to leave the hotel😅 I especially loved the Chinese calligraphy experience. Writing calligraphy while two lovely parrots sometimes came to sit on my shoulder felt like a real journey into traditional Chinese culture. You can also create small handmade souvenirs, which makes the experience even more memorable The location is perfect, with incredible mountain views all around. And one small detail that I really appreciated: the panoramic windows are always perfectly clean. In many hotels, beautiful views are ruined by dirty windows, but here you can fully enjoy the scenery P.S.: just one small suggestion it would be great to have a “Do not disturb” sign. Some guests may want to have some private time and make sure that nobody enters the room"

"Traveling on a rainy day is indeed inconvenient, but there are definitely fewer people around. The hotel service was excellent and satisfactory. Its location was convenient for pickups and drop-offs. It was clean, quiet, and offered great value for money at this price. Very satisfied! A taxi from Guilin West Station to the hotel cost 45 yuan. Waiting for a ride-hailing service takes too long, and you often can't even get a booking, which I assume is common at any high-speed rail station. To get to Elephant Trunk Hill, use Entrance 3. Don't waste time going to Entrance 1, as you'll only see the elephant's backside. The one-hour Four Rivers cruise for 80 yuan per person isn't really worth it, unless you have an excess of time and nothing else to do. I recommend visiting Liu Sanjie's Former Residence instead! The cable car offers beautiful views of the 'A Thousand Miles of Rivers and Mountains' scenery."

"The room was fantastic – spacious, bright, clean, and tidy. The floor-to-ceiling windows offered breathtaking views, which I absolutely loved. The hotel is right by the river, with a snack street just downstairs, making it super convenient to get to all the attractions. What I was most impressed with was the hotel's service. There was iced lemon water in the lobby, and a complimentary afternoon tea where I could enjoy tea while taking in the views from the terrace. The staff were very helpful, bringing my luggage to the room. When I left, they even gave me a thoughtful fridge magnet, which was incredibly touching. I highly recommend staying here."

"The room was a good size, and the bed was very comfortable. The front desk staff, especially the ladies, were really helpful. The hotel even provided recommendations for nearby attractions and places to eat. We tried the 5.5 yuan rice noodles and the Chun Ji roasted goose right outside the hotel, which were both delicious! The hotel's location is super convenient, within 1.5 km of all the main attractions, so you can easily walk everywhere. They also have a dryer, and the entrance is stocked with various emergency medicines and hair ties. I'll definitely choose this hotel again next time I visit."

"Overall, the room was quite good. The guesthouse is a small building with lovely river views. However, the tatami room only offers good views on a clear day, but you can always go up to the rooftop terrace to enjoy them. The overall style is great, and they have a washer and dryer. My only suggestion would be for them to have a separate laundry room. The current placement of the washer and dryer feels out of place and detracts from the otherwise refined and artistic feel of the guesthouse. It gives off the impression that because it's not a 'front-facing' area, they didn't bother to organize or clean it properly. It would be much better if that area was well-maintained and they also provided laundry supplies. The owner was also very kind and helpful, always ready to answer any questions. And the BBQ place nearby is surprisingly delicious, highly recommend it!"

"This hotel is located right in the heart of the scenic area, offering fantastic views and superb convenience. You can easily walk to several city attractions like Elephant Trunk Hill and Sun and Moon Pagodas. The staff are very friendly and communicative, coordinating everything beforehand, and there's parking available, making check-in a breeze. The 'influencer-worthy' pool is great for photos. What really stood out to me was the seasonal ”pearl plums” at the front desk – so crispy and sweet!! And surprisingly, the Guilin rice noodles at breakfast were the best I had during my entire three-day trip to Guilin…! There are no major downsides; it offers great value for money. Highly recommend staying here!"

"I chose the Qiao CIAO Hotel for my short stay in Guilin, and its riverside location right by the Li River is absolutely fantastic! It's been raining lightly recently, and the infinity pool on the first floor looks incredibly inviting. The pool water seems to blend seamlessly with the outdoor mountain scenery, and a gentle breeze just makes you feel completely relaxed. I booked a twin room, and it was spacious and brand new. The lighting was warm and inviting, and there was a large bathtub – perfect for a relaxing soak after exploring the mountains and rivers, it really helped me unwind. You absolutely must try the Guilin rice noodles for breakfast. A warm bowl of it is incredibly satisfying, and you can add as many toppings as you like. There's also a good variety of fruits and pastries, so you can take your time and enjoy your meal without rushing. The ambiance, rooms, and breakfast were all excellent. This short trip was incredibly comfortable, and I'd definitely recommend considering this hotel if you're visiting Guilin!"

"Overall, it's pretty good. The location is excellent, basically within walking distance of everything. The room is spacious enough, perfect for families with kids. The hotel is in the heart of the city, with a bus stop right outside, making transportation to various attractions incredibly smooth – no more worrying about dragging luggage around. There are supermarkets and malls everywhere, a full score recommendation! Whether you're exploring during the day or hitting the night market, it's super convenient to get back to the hotel. Great value for money. The front desk staff, both male and female, were super enthusiastic and helped recommend good food and drinks nearby. The prime location alone makes it worth another stay. The mattress was just the right firmness, perfect for relaxing after a day of sightseeing. The air conditioning heated and cooled quickly, and the hot water flow was stable and continuous. The toiletries were of good quality, and the wet/dry separation in the bathroom was spotlessly clean. The room had great natural light, and the floor-to-ceiling windows offered an expansive view. You could sit by the window to rest and play on your phone. Despite being on a busy street, you couldn't hear any noise, allowing for a peaceful sleep until you naturally woke up."
