"This hotel is by the sea and very close to the Old Town. It's also a convenient 15-minute drive to the airport. There are plenty of options for dining and shopping nearby. Just 500 meters straight out of the hotel, there's a huge flea market that's definitely worth checking out. The hotel rooms are a bit small, but they're very well-designed, and the bathroom is quite spacious. The mirror in front of the bed is a bit awkward, but everything else is great."

"The room had a beautiful view and the location was very convenient. The door latch was broken when I checked in, but it was fixed fairly quickly. It's an eco-friendly hotel, so they only clean the room every three days unless requested. The front desk and restaurant staff were very friendly and helpful. On the last day, something strange happened: after packing my luggage, I put up the 'do not disturb' sign and went out for dinner. When I returned, I found the 'do not disturb' sign inside the room, clearly indicating someone had entered. Luckily, all my valuables were either with me or locked in the safe. I reported this issue during check-out but haven't received any follow-up since."

"Sorry to say it's not worth what I've spent. Being 4 people (2 adults and 2 kids under 3yo) the ”family room” is insufficient in terms of overall space, size of main bed, and comfort of couch/bed. The room is a typical single room with one additional couch. Once the couch is open, there is no space to walk. The main bed is queen-sized, and the sofa is even smaller, and it is very, very uncomfortable. I consider it an inferior room, considering I've paid +500€ per night. Position-wise, the hotel is quite far from the center (5-6 tram stops) and very close to the airport, so you could hear the planes landing and taking off quite often. I'm not a big fan of beaches with pebbles, but Nice is like this. What is very unfortunate is that the beach in front of the hotel only opens at 10 a.m., which is just too late for a family travelling to the seaside in summer. The breakfast was very good."

"The hotel is well selected, the location is excellent, just across the street is the beach, three minutes walk is Massena Square, downstairs turn right is the restaurant gathering area, the hotel turns towards the beach and there is a McDonald's, the neighborhood is generally safe, there is also a small Asian convenience store downstairs next to the hotel, you can buy mineral water, fruit, instant noodles, etc., you don't have to worry about food and drink. The disadvantages are also quite obvious, that is, the hotel is relatively old, and you may not have too high expectations for the hygiene and facilities inside. I booked the cheapest interior room, the room is a little small, and the design of the TV wall in the middle cuts the space a bit, and there is no place to put the big suitcase after spreading it out. Location is king, if you don't have high requirements for the room hardware (and the price is right), this Mercure is still very good"

"Great location and lovely room with view over airport , only downside was bar closed early and we had just arrived from a long delayed flight there was no food available and just ordered drinks but staff made us feel like we were inconveniencing them. Apart from the staff is a great hotel"

"This hotel experience was amazing! The room was very cozy, and every detail showed the hotel's care. The bedding was soft and comfortable, and I had a good night's sleep. The service was even better. The staff was warm and thoughtful, and they responded to every request. I felt like I was at home. I have to give it a five-star rating!"

"Booking through Trip.com was perfect and straightforward! The hotel met our expectations except for two criteria: The rooftop terrace with pool was one of our selection criteria. Unfortunately, upon arrival, we learned that the rooftop terrace would be closed for the duration of our stay, which was very disappointing! Furthermore, we had no way to watch German television; German channels were available, but without picture or sound! When we inquired, we were told that the technicians were working on it."

"The location is near the Nice airport, which is very convenient. The tram and bus stops are right outside the hotel, so you have easy access to the airport, and to the city centers of Nice, Cannes and other locations. The hotel, overall, was clear. They did a good job with the rooms, which were fairly spacious, only there was a bit of confusion about which glass bottles were clean or dirty outside, near the water machine, which is the only way you can get drinking water for the room. The clean bottles were supposed to be on top of the machine outside, near the elevator, but I was unsure if those bottles were actually clean. The service was very good, the team at the front desk was very helpful. There was a small scare when we first arrived, as the hotel said that they did not have our booking in their system (which I had fully paid for in advice, on Trip.com). They made a few phone calls, and we managed to get the 2 rooms that we booked for the five of us (2 adults, 3 children). I should point out that they said I was lucky that they had their last 2 rooms available, which they keep for such emergencies. I did not pay for breakfast, but we did eat the breakfast there twice, and if one adult buys the breakfast (19 euros), then the children are free. That worked well for us, and the children enjoyed the breakfast, as did the adults. There is a swimming pool, which is a small to medium size, and although we didn't use it, saw that many others were enjoying the pool. The gym was a decent size, but there were no free weights, which I like to use, so I did not use the gym. The restaurant connected to the hotel is only open Monday to Friday, and the menu is limited. There is not a great selection of restaurants nearby, but you can order in from others further away, though you will find that they make mistakes. Overall, a good choice for a reasonable hotel near the airport with good access to the cities around."
