To my surprise, the hotel offered complimentary millet porridge. It was a thoughtful touch and hit the spot! The overall environment is really nice. It's also a quick taxi ride, about 8 RMB, to Wugongsi Pier."

The three theme venues of Ocean World, Water World and Rainforest World are so fun that the kids don't want to leave~ The Mermaid Shanhai Banquet for dinner, two mermaid performances every day are amazing! The 3-day and 2-night itinerary is full. Zhoushan Pelican Hotel is definitely the ceiling for parent-child travel in Jiangsu, Zhejiang and Shanghai. I will come again next time! 💖"

"This is a newly opened, trendy sea-view guesthouse in Zhujiajian, Putuo. Perched on a cliffside along Zhangzhou Road, it leverages Zhoushan Putuo's island tourism resources to create a sea-view accommodation that combines leisure, relaxation, and family fun, making it a new hotspot in Zhujiajian. The large floor-to-ceiling windows in the rooms are the main highlight. You can gaze out at the azure sea and green mountains right from your bed, watching boats slowly sail across the water. In the evening, the sunset paints the sea in a warm orange hue, creating a lovely ambiance. The ancient ship installation in the lobby echoes the island theme, and the public areas are open and spacious, perfect for capturing that island vacation vibe in every photo."

"The hotel's environment was fantastic: our balcony offered expansive sea views, and the garden was absolutely stunning. A small gate through the garden led straight to the beach. Since it was off-season, it wasn't crowded at all, which made for a very pleasant experience. The service was excellent; the front desk, bellhops, and cleaning staff were all incredibly friendly. The facilities were a bit dated, but for the price, the value for money was exceptional. I'll definitely be back!"

"Lovely location, we stayed in a room with a Seaview. The view from the balcony was truly beautiful, we ate at the Westin (they offer a breakfast and dinner buffet), they also have a vegetarian restaurant behind the main restaurant area. Definitely recommend this option for meals, the quality is great and the buffet is from 530pm - 9pm. Access buffet tickets through scanning the code, don’t let people trick you into buying tickets at higher prices, ask for the QR code/ mini program to buy meal vouchers. We were tricked into buying meal vouchers through the hotel as we arrived for a slightly higher price. Then soon learnt that you can buy them for cheaper on their mini program! Beach access - locals need to show ID and pay 10rmb. Although we had mostly cloudy days, the environment is very comfortable and the food from the Westin was delicious."

"This is a awesome hotel! Very clean and the amenities are good! Just that it is not as advance or high tech as some of the boutique hotels that were build in the recent years. It is a kids friendly and family oriented hotel. It has games and stuff for kids and spa, gym, swimming facilities - very resort. The hotel is made up of various theme rooms and located at different area. Free buggy rides from 1 area to another and access to private beach The staff are friendly and helpful and flexible to making changes. I would love to come here again if i ever visit zhoushan!"

The room was clean and tidy, the bedding was soft and didn't sag, and the bathroom had a non-slip mat, which was a thoughtful touch. It's only a few minutes' walk to the beach. "The hotel is relatively new and has a very zen design. The only downside is the terrible soundproofing. I could hear conversations from the room next door, and since our room was quite close to the restaurant, I was woken up around 6 AM by the clear sounds of people going to breakfast and talking. The hotel's restaurant is definitely worth recommending; we ate there three times during our two-day, one-night stay."
