Romantic Hotels in Zhoushan

"I went to Zhoushan to visit a friend and this was my second stay at this hotel; I also stayed here last year. The hotel is very clean and new, making for a comfortable stay. The value for money is decent, and the breakfast offers a good variety. My only confusion is why they still require a deposit – I haven't encountered any other hotels that ask for a deposit nowadays."

"I originally planned to take my child to Mount Putuo and booked a highly-rated family room. To my surprise, this family-friendly hotel exceeded all expectations. They were very thoughtful, inquiring about our needs before check-in, and the in-room amenities for children were incredibly convenient and considerate. I even fell in love with the shower cap, and the smell of the kids' toothbrush and toothpaste! The balcony in our third-floor family room was spacious and lovely. There's also a small children's play area on the third-floor terrace, and the 'snowflakes' sprayed during the Christmas season were just adorable. Dinner prices were comparable to outside restaurants, so we just ate at the hotel's Chinese restaurant. The weather warmed up to 21 degrees during our stay, perfect for an outdoor stroll to watch the sunset by the sea. The young lady at the front desk was very gentle and patient, and the breakfast was also abundant, with decor and food choices more appealing to little ones. We didn't even get a chance to try the infinity pool, indoor kids' water park, and children's playground, but we're already very satisfied. One small suggestion: the self-service dryer doesn't show the remaining time, which makes it hard to gauge when to go upstairs to retrieve laundry. A time display would be very helpful."

"The beachfront location was nice. However, we found a few small bugs on my son's bed, possibly because we opened the window, which made me restless all night, constantly feeling like there were bugs in the bed. The customer service lady was very good; she immediately offered to change our room. But when checking out, the front desk didn't believe us about the bugs and even suggested we had opened the window, which left a bad taste in our mouths. Overall, it was decent and good value for money."

"I am very happy to stay in this hotel when I came to Zhoushan. Xiaole at the front desk is efficient and capable, and can quickly solve various problems. • Thoughtful and considerate: Provide all-round and considerate services, pay attention to every need of the guests. • Warm and friendly: The staff always smiles and actively communicates with the guests, making the guests feel warm. The location is also very good, with a sea view outside the window. There is also Zhang Hong, a staff member we met on the way, who patiently introduced us to the surrounding attractions, food and how to avoid pitfalls in Zhujiajian."

"Nice hotel, in a new area a bit far from city center. Clean room, not very big but with all the things you need for a nice stay. Refrigerator was not connected to plug and AC was not working, luckly it was not too hot. Breakfast buffet was fine. Wifi connection works well. Good to have a mall in the front with supermarket too. I attended bike race and this hotel was not so prepared to accept cyclists and their needs for the race ( early breakfast and delayed checkout). "

"I went on vacation after the Lantern Festival. There were not many guests staying in the hotel, but the facilities were complete, the shuttle bus was very convenient, and the hot springs were great. I could soak in the hot springs by the sea, listen to the sound of the waves hitting the beach, and watch the sunset slowly disappear on the sea level. In the morning, you can watch the sunrise on the beach. I didn't go to the indoor swimming pool, but I swam in the infinity pool of the hot spring for a while. The water temperature is 30℃, so it doesn't feel cold to swim in winter. We also visited the Wushitang and Nansha scenic spots next to the hotel. There were not many people in winter and the amusement facilities were not open. You can climb down Baishan Mountain. The scenery at the top of the mountain is pretty good, but there is nothing else except the scenery. I would like to give special praise to the hotel staff Xiao Liu and Xiao Qian. They did an amazing job and provided warm and attentive service. They deserve five-star praise!"

"The experience of staying at Zhoushan Berna Hotel is so pleasant! From the moment I entered the door, Miss Taozi at the front desk was full of smiles. She checked in quickly and considerately, and took the initiative to inform me of the surrounding tour routes. The room aunt cleaned the room spotlessly every day. Seeing that we brought our children, she also gave us extra dolls, which was very heartwarming. The hotel hardware is also impeccable. The room is spacious and bright, the bedding is soft and comfortable, and I slept very well at night. The bathroom is well separated into dry and wet areas, hot water is available in seconds, and the toiletries are of high quality. The public area is clean and tidy, the elevator responds quickly, and there is an exquisite rest area downstairs. The overall feeling is both high-end and warm. I will definitely stay here next time I come to Zhoushan!"

"Our room was comfortable and spotless. We loved being able to watch the sunrise right from our bed, and the direct beach access meant we could easily stroll on the sand or go for a swim. The hotel staff were incredibly warm and welcoming, and the convenient pier transfer service was a big plus."

"The sea-view room offered a great view, and the front desk staff were quite welcoming. However, the cleaning was genuinely subpar. There were many uncleaned corners; when I bent down to pick something up, I saw dust everywhere under and around the bed. Plus, the air conditioning vent was moldy, which is really not ideal for young children. We booked two rooms, and the toilet in one of them was leaking. A staff member came to inspect it, confirmed the leak, placed some floor towels to prevent slipping, and then nothing else was done. There were no compensation measures offered whatsoever. Overall, the price doesn't match the cleanliness of the environment. It's certainly not as perfect as some reviews make it out to be!"
