Great
AAngelo_007The views from this hotel was stunning. Both inside in my room and all around the hotel campus you look directly into the heart of Bangkok and can see a good part of the city. Location wise travelers at this site are close to multiple local hotspots. In my case I enjoyed walking over to the waterfront where I took a river cruise into China town and spent most of my day there. It was pleasant to come back to a quiet room with a charming view after all the exploration and adventure. Inside my room everything was clean and with a touch of modern decoration and color. My bathroom included a spacious tub and my bed was very comfortable under the well regulated room air conditioning. I enjoyed being close to several shopping districts including Central World and Siam Paragon where I ended up walking to the next morning. I very much enjoyed the staff at this site with complements going to the bar crew. Both nights there I spent time enjoying a beer and discussing how local life was for these friendly and energetic folks. On my last morning I took part in the breakfast buffet and I was surprised to see how many options for food were available. Overall this was a great stay that I recommend and would gladly revisit upon my return.

EEkaterina___stThis was our second stay at this hotel during our time in Bangkok, and that alone says a lot. We originally planned to stay only a few days, but felt comfortable enough to extend our stay for another week. What stood out most was how easy it was to settle into a routine here. The atmosphere feels relaxed, the property is well maintained, and everything worked smoothly throughout our stay. The staff were welcoming and consistently helpful whenever we needed assistance. We especially enjoyed spending time by the pool after busy days in the city, and appreciated having comfortable spaces where we could relax between sightseeing and work. The hotel offered a great balance between value, comfort, and convenience. The surrounding area has plenty of local food options, shops, and useful services, making longer stays very practical. Overall, this was a place we genuinely enjoyed returning to every evening, and extending our stay by an extra week turned out to be an easy decision. We would happily stay here again on a future trip to Bangkok!

SSTUART GOODALLBeat Warii has become the place to beat for me here in Bangkok. First and foremost, it offers great value and that counts for everything. The location on the riverside is central, convenient and scenic with a constant kaleidoscope of things happening right outside. You have access to piers, boats, buses and e-hailing services/cabs. The famous temples and most beautiful Watsuttiwaram and Yannawa are within working distance, and the world's most beautiful Mall (IconSiam)is a very short boat ride away for a minimal amount, but you can choose to walk there too. Asiatique the entertainment and riverfront development is within easy reach and offers complimentary transport via boat or shuttle. The area around the Hostel houses the largest fish market and seafood buffet restaurant. Within a few minutes' walk is a multitude of local places to eat that offer unique cuisine as well a selection of international food as well. The Hostel has a basketball court, laundry and ironing facilities, lots of space over 7 Floors, co-walking areas, lockers for shoes and valuable, capsule type dormitory beds, private rooms, a shared kitchen space, social areas, a cozy roof top with wow views, branded merchandize, places to hang and dry clothes, good AC and fans throughout, Comfy linen (crisp white duvets and sheets/pillows and a towel), adequate lights and plugs at bedside, laminated flooring, bean bags to chill, dedicated smoking space, local cats to play with, filtered water (hot and cold) , complimentary coffee all day, storage space for luggage, no refundable deposits requested, good maintenance, great showers and toilets throughout and staff that is professional, helpful, kind and friendly. There are no elevators, but this provides a daily workout for you. There is generally a good vibe and a nice mix of international guests around and yes, you can walk to a few Seven 11's easily as well as Little Big C. Yes, there is a fishy smell outside and it feels very local and wet in the surrounding area, but it does not affect your stay or experience at the actual Hostel, and it adds character to the entire environment. For where it is and the quality and selection of services and features you receive, Beat Warii is the best choice overall.

GGuest UserExtremely satisfied with my stay, highly recommend! Choosing the Jubilee Hotel for this business trip was an excellent decision! First off, I have to praise the room – it was incredibly spacious with a fantastic view, absolutely no feeling of being cramped. Enjoying breakfast by the sun-drenched window every morning, gazing out at the scenery, instantly brightened my mood and gave me more energy to start the workday. The hotel's Chinese and Japanese restaurants were also a pleasant surprise; the food was incredibly authentic and delicious, completely exceeding my expectations. Plus, the location is super convenient, making getting around for work hassle-free. Next time I'm in Thailand for business, I won't hesitate to choose this place again!

AAnonymous UserI went to Bangkok 2 times in 2 months. First we were in an expensive 5 star resort in the river and second time was here in Ramada Plaza. It was more than half the price of the first place but wow it was almost as good! I am not goof at reviews so I will just ramble my thoughts. The worst part of Ramada Plaza is the entrance. It is lackluster and the main big doors were not working so they had small signs that say in and out for you to use side doors. When you get in, the lobby is big and grand with high ceilings, albeit very dated. At night there is a pianist and singer every day and it’s nice to come back to. Front desk staff were kind and they said they upgraded our room from deluxe to premier deluxe (although they always say this so I don’t know if there truly was a difference). We didn’t get early check in and connecting rooms as I requested but we didn’t get rooms beside each other which was good enough. When we got to the room it was so nice. Looked newly renovated! Looked newer than the lobby and the hallway. So we were happy. Aircon was super strong and cold thoughout our 8 day stay. No carpet in the room, made it easier for luggages to roll. I felt it was cleaner that way too. Linens were crisp and clean. Pillows were super great and soft. For our king size bed we had 4 pillows and 1 extra. The bathroom was spacious but it had a wet floor set up so your tub and shower was beside each other. Tub is small so it fills up easily. Water is super super strong and goes from boiling hot to cold. We soaked everyday in the tub. My shower had low pressure in the first day but when I asked them to fix it, they did and it became super strong. If I may nitpick - I didn’t like their provided shampoo (made my hair stiff) and shower gel and lotion(didn’t like the scent). But it was totally ok. Just personal preference. They give two bottles of water a day. The provided ref was ok. Takes a while for our drinks to cool. Anyway moving on, the location of the hotel is beside asiatique so it’s noisy at night (we were in the 6F) because of the party boats boarding. Lots of singing. But only early in the evening. We tried the free tuktuk to asiatique and it was so fast like riding a rollercoaster. My daughter loved it. The location itself is nice because of the river view but it’s prone to a lot of traffic coming from places like icon Siam or central world. Outside the hotel were more than 5 massage spas. We tried one and had a great foot massage!! Loved it! We never tried the fee hotel boat to central pier because we didn’t want todeal with central pier and shift boats. I wish they had a free icon Siam boat like other hotels but that’s ok I guess it’s far. Also the boat doesn’t go at 12 noon so we just opted for a grab car to get around. Oh and also the breakfast buffet is great! They change selection daily so in 8 days we tried many different things. I loved the pork rib curry even though it was so spicy. The chef roams around every morning. Nice touch! Overall I recommend this hotel to all my friends who don’t want to break the bank but still want the resort feel by the river.

SSS05Holiday Inn Bangkok: Perfect Solo Weekend Retreat Near Emsphere I recently spent a relaxed long weekend (just over two nights) solo at Holiday Inn Bangkok, right next to Emsphere mall. As an NRI zipping between Hong Kong and Bangkok for work, I needed a hassle-free spot with easy access to shopping, dining, and BTS— this nailed it. Location (5/5): Smack in Sukhumvit's heart, it's a 1-min walk to Emsphere's trendy shops, cinemas, and food scene. BTS Phrom Phong is 5 mins away, making airport runs and city jaunts effortless. No taxi drama in Bangkok traffic! Room & Comfort (4.5/5): My superior room was spotless, modern, and spacious for solo use— king bed was plush, blackout curtains ensured deep sleep despite city buzz. Huge bathroom with rain shower and amenities felt luxurious. Minor nitpick: AC was a tad noisy at night, but earplugs fixed it. Free Wi-Fi was speedy for my work calls. Service & Facilities (4/5): Staff were warm and efficient—check-in was instant, and they upgraded my view gratis. Gym and pool on the 8th floor offered stunning skyline vistas; poolside was quiet for solo unwinding. Breakfast buffet was solid (fresh Thai/Western options), but could use more variety for repeat stays. Value (4.5/5): At ~THB 4,500/night (booked via app), it's a steal for the location and IHG perks. Quiet for a city hotel, ideal for solo travelers avoiding party vibes. Overall: 4.5/5. Highly recommend for short business-leisure trips. Will return!

GGuest UserAddressed to Jon Warmington, the General Manager I recently stayed at Grand Mercure Bangkok Atrium room 842 from 27 May to 1 June and would like to share some feedback regarding my experience. First and foremost, I would like to emphasize that I genuinely enjoyed my stay. The hotel, facilities, and the majority of the team members provided excellent service, and overall I had a pleasant experience. In fact, I am not the type of guest who frequently raises complaints. During my travels, I spend very little time in my hotel room. Most of my day is spent outside the property, and my interaction with the hotel is generally limited to breakfast and sleeping. As such, it takes a significant issue for me to feel compelled to formally raise a concern. The first issue relates to breakfast. During my stay, I invited a Muslim friend to join me for breakfast. He entered the restaurant with me but did not consume any food because he was unable to find suitable options that met his dietary requirements. While I acknowledge that I did not raise this directly with the restaurant team at the time, I was surprised when Reception later informed me that they had verified that my friend had taken breakfast. From my perspective, entering the restaurant should not automatically be considered as consuming breakfast when no food was actually taken. Nevertheless, I have decided to let this matter rest and move on. The second issue is far more serious and is the primary reason for this email. On my final night at the hotel, I was expecting a visitor. However, Reception did not contact me to verify whether I was expecting anyone before allowing my visitor access to the guest floors. Instead, my visitor was simply directed to my room and arrived at my door unannounced. Having worked within the Accor group for approximately 15 years as a Duty Manager in Singapore, I am very familiar with hotel operational procedures, guest privacy standards, and security protocols. It has always been my understanding that when a visitor arrives for an in-house guest, Reception should first contact the guest to obtain authorization before granting access to the room floors. While my visitor was indeed expected on this occasion, Reception had no way of knowing that without contacting me first. Had the visitor not been known to me, this could have resulted in a serious security and privacy issue. In my professional opinion, allowing a visitor direct access to a guest room without prior verification is unacceptable and falls short of the standards expected from an Accor property. What further disappointed me was the handling of the matter after I raised my concern. I wish to be clear that I am not seeking compensation of any kind. My concern is not financial. Rather, I expect an appropriate resolution and acknowledgement of the seriousness of the issue. Simply being told ”sorry” was not sufficient given the nature of the security lapse. The alternatives presented to me by the Night Manager were also, in my view, unreasonable. One option was for me to move to another room on my final night. Considering that I was due to check out the following morning, I found this solution impractical and disruptive. Being asked to pack my belongings and relocate because of an issue that was not caused by me did not seem to be an appropriate resolution. I was also informed that a Reception Manager would speak with me. However, I was unable to wait indefinitely for the manager's arrival. As a guest who was raising a legitimate concern, I do not believe I should have been expected to delay my evening plans or remain available for an uncertain period of time. Furthermore, I was scheduled to leave the hotel at 7:00 AM the next morning in order to arrive at the airport early for my flight. For these reasons, I felt that the issue was not properly addressed during my stay, which is why I am bringing it directly to your attention. I am raising this matter not only as a guest but also

GGuest UserMy stay at Homm Bangkok was excellent from start to finish. Everything about the experience exceeded my expectations. The hotel is beautifully designed, with a modern yet welcoming atmosphere that immediately makes you feel comfortable. The room was spotless, spacious, and thoughtfully arranged, with all the amenities I needed for a relaxing stay. The bed was especially comfortable, ensuring a great night’s sleep after busy days exploring the city. The staff were outstanding—friendly, attentive, and always ready to help with a smile. Their professionalism and warm hospitality really stood out and made the stay even more enjoyable. The facilities were also top-notch, and every detail felt well taken care of. From check-in to check-out, everything ran smoothly and efficiently. Overall, I couldn’t have asked for a better experience. I would highly recommend Homm Bangkok to anyone visiting the city, and I would definitely stay here again.

KKaung - the travellerTGreat Location, Good Value, and a Nice Pool I recently stayed at Furama Silom Bangkok and overall had a pleasant experience. The hotel’s biggest strengths are its excellent location, reasonable pricing, and rooftop pool with fantastic city views. The property is conveniently located in the Silom area, making it easy to access restaurants, street food, shopping, public transportation, and nightlife. For travelers looking for a central base in Bangkok without spending too much, it offers very good value for money. The rooftop pool was one of the highlights of my stay. It provides a relaxing atmosphere and beautiful views of the Bangkok skyline, especially during sunset. The rooms were spacious and comfortable, offering good value for the price paid. The staff were generally polite and helpful when needed, although the service was fairly standard rather than exceptional. Check-in and daily interactions were smooth, but there was nothing particularly memorable about the service experience. That said, the hotel would benefit from some renovations and maintenance updates. Certain areas of the property appear dated, and some room facilities could be improved to meet modern expectations. While everything was functional, refreshing the interiors would significantly enhance the overall guest experience. Overall, Furama Silom remains a solid choice for travelers seeking a well-located hotel with good facilities at a fair price. With some improvements and modernization, it could be an even better place to stay in Bangkok.
