"Great hotel situated not far from the airport.
Very clean and modern with soundproof rooms allowing a good night's sleep. Very comfortable beds.
A huge Robinsons store outside with everything you need close by. I really like the small food market and bar outside the hotel serving cold beers and live music.
Also provide a free transfer service to the airport twice a day which is another nice feature.
Will definitely stay here again for its convenience."

"Booked a premier room. The old air conditioner wasn't cooling properly. The bathroom had a cigarette-like smell, but the staff said it was from the trash bag. When the bathtub was draining, water overflowed from the bottom, making the bathroom floor wet. This meant my feet got wet when using the toilet. The TV only had standard channels. The mattress was too soft. I informed the staff, and they promptly took action. The staff were very attentive. In the end, I had to change rooms because the air conditioner wasn't cooling, even after leaving it on for an hour."

"Facilities: I booked a queen-sized bed (1.4m), but ended up with three single beds (with wheels underneath, so they moved around). Trip.com's customer service was quite prompt in resolving the issue.
Cleanliness: The hygiene was acceptable.
Environment: It's very close to the airport, which is great for late-night flights. It's about a 10-minute walk to 7-Eleven.
Service: You can eat in the lobby, and they offer local jasmine tea and a microwave to heat up food. There are also tables and sofas available."

"Can't find much wrong with this hotel . Very friendly helpful Eng speaking staff at reception, checked in quickly . .
Room AC was great, quiet but older type controls on wall , so no remote ..Room was huge .. very comfy , clean bed . Shower was hot .
Some rooms had balconies . They put me right beside the lift as requested . It's a busy hotel but only heard the kiosk across the street playing a bit of music at night . Not too loud and finished about 11. They sell drinks and snacks there . Basically a hangout for the Grab drivers .
Small swimming pool and plenty loungers. With .small kiddie section. Shower and toilets, clean ..all good
There's a good selection on the room. menu or there's a cafe downstairs . I didn't book breakfast so I can't review , but the meals, drinks menu looked reasonably priced .
From the reception if you go straight ahead you are in the lane.. turn right for a short walk to the main street .. 7/11 and plenty of restaurants . Stalls selling food in the lane as well .. Further up the street from thec7/11 , there's a few indoor markets selling a range of stuff .
The airport is only 15 mins away and they do a free transfer basically every half hour ..times at reception . A 1000 baht deposit is returned at checkout .
I'd definitely return. Highly recommend ."

"Nicely located 7 ks from the airport and with free pickup and drop off the Grand BS should be at the top of your list. Nice big rooms with everything you need and two good swimming pools for the hot days. Reception were friendly and helpful.. It also comes with an average breakfast but then the price is very cheap. We were happy . There are also food stalls and markets a few minutes walk away plus a 7 11 to meet all your needs. I would be happy to stay again 👍"

"It was alright, mainly because it was close to the airport, and there weren't many other good hotel options nearby. I only realized after returning home that I had booked the wrong date – a day later than intended. But the hotel front desk didn't say anything, which was good considering the language barrier. There are three decent-sized 7-Elevens in the vicinity. The breakfast selection wasn't extensive, but again, the main draw was its proximity to the airport."

SSerene_lanI was pleasantly surprised to find two cute elephants on the bed after upgrading to a king-size room. However, when I pulled back the sheets, I discovered three strands of hair that weren't mine. I went to the front desk to report the issue and asked for a change of sheets. A local male staff member flicked the three hairs onto the floor and told me that the sheets were clean and new, implying they were fine to sleep on. It seemed like he had no intention of changing them. So, I insisted on completely new ones. He then quickly brought a new set of sheets and duvet covers and changed them in about a minute. I gave him 20 baht as a tip for his trouble. Later, the front desk called to apologize and said they'd send a drink voucher, but it never arrived. The mini-fridge was a bit old and run-down, and it was quite disgusting inside, like a junk fridge no one would even buy for 50 baht as scrap. When I checked out, I had basically left everything 80% as I found it, as I hadn't used any of the other amenities.

The room was clean and cozy, and I especially loved the rooftop pool and the city views. The staff were welcoming and attentive. Great hotel for the price, and I would happily come back again. 9/10!

DdjkhcThe facilities were kept clean, and the reception and cleaning staff were very kind! There were three shower rooms and three toilets each for women, and they were cleaned frequently. The shower rooms had shampoo and body soap. There was also one hairdryer in the vanity area. The room had a locker large enough to fit a carry-on size bag, and another locker at the head of the bed for valuables, both of which could be locked, which was reassuring. I brought a converter from Japan for the outlets, but it wasn't necessary. There were two outlets by the bed, so it wasn't inconvenient at all. The laundry room was on the 3rd floor, and I could hang my washed clothes there to dry. Since it's a well-ventilated indoor space, my laundry wouldn't get wet even during a squall. The fish market is nearby, so I noticed a slight fishy smell until I got to the hostel, but overall, it was a very satisfying stay! I'm glad I chose to stay here!

WWufawutiandexionghaiziThe hotel's location is pretty good. There's a convenience store downstairs, and about 500 meters south, you'll find a large shopping mall and a night market. To the north, there are all Chinese restaurants.
The room itself is quite spacious. Compared to hotels in China, the decor is a bit dated, but it's very clean and the bed is large and comfortable. The front desk staff can provide basic Chinese service, so checking in was easy. The breakfast spread is also quite rich. It might be a little far from the main attractions, though.

GGuest UserWe had an amazing stay at this beautiful property. The location is perfect, right on the banks of the Chao Phraya River, offering lovely views and a peaceful atmosphere. The hotel also provides a complimentary boat shuttle service to the nearest pier, making it incredibly convenient to explore IconSiam, WatArun, WatPho, Asiatique etc.
Hotel has an outstanding hospitality. Every member of the staff—from the bell attendants and reception team to the housekeeping staff, are warm, courteous, professional, and always eager to help.
We even got a complimentary upgrade from a Deluxe Premium Room to a Suite, which made our stay even more memorable. The suite was spacious, elegant, and very comfortable. Breakfast got a huge variety to offer.
Overall, it was a wonderful experience, and we would highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a luxurious stay with exceptional service in Bangkok. We would definitely love to return on our next visit. View from our room is attached.

I recently stayed at Grand Mercure Bangkok Atrium room 842 from 27 May to 1 June and would like to share some feedback regarding my experience.
First and foremost, I would like to emphasize that I genuinely enjoyed my stay. The hotel, facilities, and the majority of the team members provided excellent service, and overall I had a pleasant experience.
In fact, I am not the type of guest who frequently raises complaints. During my travels, I spend very little time in my hotel room. Most of my day is spent outside the property, and my interaction with the hotel is generally limited to breakfast and sleeping. As such, it takes a significant issue for me to feel compelled to formally raise a concern.
The first issue relates to breakfast. During my stay, I invited a Muslim friend to join me for breakfast. He entered the restaurant with me but did not consume any food because he was unable to find suitable options that met his dietary requirements. While I acknowledge that I did not raise this directly with the restaurant team at the time, I was surprised when Reception later informed me that they had verified that my friend had taken breakfast.
From my perspective, entering the restaurant should not automatically be considered as consuming breakfast when no food was actually taken. Nevertheless, I have decided to let this matter rest and move on.
The second issue is far more serious and is the primary reason for this email.
On my final night at the hotel, I was expecting a visitor. However, Reception did not contact me to verify whether I was expecting anyone before allowing my visitor access to the guest floors. Instead, my visitor was simply directed to my room and arrived at my door unannounced.
Having worked within the Accor group for approximately 15 years as a Duty Manager in Singapore, I am very familiar with hotel operational procedures, guest privacy standards, and security protocols. It has always been my understanding that when a visitor arrives for an in-house guest, Reception should first contact the guest to obtain authorization before granting access to the room floors.
While my visitor was indeed expected on this occasion, Reception had no way of knowing that without contacting me first. Had the visitor not been known to me, this could have resulted in a serious security and privacy issue. In my professional opinion, allowing a visitor direct access to a guest room without prior verification is unacceptable and falls short of the standards expected from an Accor property.
What further disappointed me was the handling of the matter after I raised my concern.
I wish to be clear that I am not seeking compensation of any kind. My concern is not financial. Rather, I expect an appropriate resolution and acknowledgement of the seriousness of the issue. Simply being told ”sorry” was not sufficient given the nature of the security lapse.
The alternatives presented to me by the Night Manager were also, in my view, unreasonable. One option was for me to move to another room on my final night. Considering that I was due to check out the following morning, I found this solution impractical and disruptive. Being asked to pack my belongings and relocate because of an issue that was not caused by me did not seem to be an appropriate resolution.
I was also informed that a Reception Manager would speak with me. However, I was unable to wait indefinitely for the manager's arrival. As a guest who was raising a legitimate concern, I do not believe I should have been expected to delay my evening plans or remain available for an uncertain period of time. Furthermore, I was scheduled to leave the hotel at 7:00 AM the next morning in order to arrive at the airport early for my flight.
For these reasons, I felt that the issue was not properly addressed during my stay, which is why I am bringing it directly to your attention.

I recently spent a relaxed long weekend (just over two nights) solo at Holiday Inn Bangkok, right next to Emsphere mall. As an NRI zipping between Hong Kong and Bangkok for work, I needed a hassle-free spot with easy access to shopping, dining, and BTS— this nailed it.
Location (5/5): Smack in Sukhumvit's heart, it's a 1-min walk to Emsphere's trendy shops, cinemas, and food scene. BTS Phrom Phong is 5 mins away, making airport runs and city jaunts effortless. No taxi drama in Bangkok traffic!
Room & Comfort (4.5/5): My superior room was spotless, modern, and spacious for solo use— king bed was plush, blackout curtains ensured deep sleep despite city buzz. Huge bathroom with rain shower and amenities felt luxurious. Minor nitpick: AC was a tad noisy at night, but earplugs fixed it. Free Wi-Fi was speedy for my work calls.
Service & Facilities (4/5): Staff were warm and efficient—check-in was instant, and they upgraded my view gratis. Gym and pool on the 8th floor offered stunning skyline vistas; poolside was quiet for solo unwinding. Breakfast buffet was solid (fresh Thai/Western options), but could use more variety for repeat stays.
Value (4.5/5): At ~THB 4,500/night (booked via app), it's a steal for the location and IHG perks. Quiet for a city hotel, ideal for solo travelers avoiding party vibes.
Overall: 4.5/5. Highly recommend for short business-leisure trips. Will return!

GGuest UserThe night before check-in, I carefully read the negative reviews on Ctrip, which made me lose confidence in this hotel. I contacted Ctrip customer service in the middle of the night to try and cancel, but since it was past the cancellation time, we ended up staying there anyway… We had four adults and two children, so we booked a connecting quad room and a twin room.
1. **Hygiene:** The rooms were very clean. It felt comfortable to walk barefoot on the floor, and the bathroom was also very clean with a good wet/dry separation.
2. **Breakfast:** We had the power breakfast every day, and it was delicious and well-balanced.
3. **Service:** I didn't feel any discrimination; both the male and female customer service staff were very polite.
4. **Shuttle:** The hotel's regular schedule is a shuttle every half hour to the alley entrance, but during our two-day stay, we were able to leave whenever we wanted.
5. **Room Type:** For two adults and two children in Bangkok, there aren't many family room options. Many family rooms put all four people in one room, which can be disruptive when adults and children have different schedules. If you book two separate standard rooms, there's no way to look out for each other. So, connecting rooms are our favorite room type when choosing a hotel.
6. **Location:** This is indeed a drawback. Although the Sukhumvit area is great, the hotel is located deep inside an alley, which takes away the fun of being able to just step out and explore anytime…
7. **Pool and Gym:** The pool isn't big, but we were just transiting through Bangkok to Phuket, so we weren't planning on swimming at a city hotel anyway. The gym is also really small; it gets very crowded with just three or four people. However, they thoughtfully provide small towels for wiping sweat in the gym.

GGuest UserI stayed at Kingston Suites between May 15 and May 18, 2026. Arriving early morning on the 15th, they permitted an early check-in at a cost of 1000 baht extra for which i was grateful after travelling for 30 hours. The executive suite room was large, clean and included basic furniture, a microwave, refrigerator, and washer/dryer. The breakfast was a mix of Western and Indian dishes. I thought it was just okay as the main entrees were kind of bland and the selection was limited. Most of the staff were courteous. The location was quite good, only a 10-12 minute walk to Terminal 21 and a couple of BTS stations. I would likely stay again though there are numerous alternatives at a similar price point so it would likely boil down to who offers the best deal.

Cons
The rooms are very outdated. Furniture, walls, corners, and the bathroom show visible wear and damage. The rooms clearly need renovation.
The photos on the listing do not reflect the current condition of the rooms. They look much newer than they actually are.
A stove was listed as an amenity, but in reality it was not usable — it was covered with a fixed wooden panel and could not be opened.
There is no tea or coffee in the room, despite a coffee machine being shown in the photos. Tea is available at the reception during daytime only.
The air conditioner is very noisy. It is controlled via a wall panel (no remote control) with limited settings, and even on the lowest mode the noise is noticeable.
There is no ventilation fan in the bathroom, so steam stays in the room after showering unless the door is opened.
The TV offers only Thai channels. There is no Smart TV and no option to connect a phone.
The kitchen area has a sink, cabinets, and basic dishes, but it is not functional due to the lack of a stove.
Despite cleaning, the room looks visually worn because of the overall condition of the walls and ceiling.
Pros
The bed is comfortable, with two pillows per person.
Clean bed linen.
The bathroom was clean, with good water pressure.
The room includes a new hairdryer, a refrigerator, dishes, and cutlery.
There is a balcony facing the courtyard, where smoking is allowed.
The staff were polite and helpful. The receptionist spoke good English and explained everything clearly, and the housekeeping staff were also very friendly.
The hotel provides a golf cart shuttle to nearby shopping malls.
The location is convenient, close to M-Sphere, Emporium, and the M District, which was the main reason we chose this hotel.
Overall
Suitable for a short stay of one night.
The main drawback is the outdated rooms and mismatch with the photos.
The location and staff are the hotel’s strongest points.

Номера сильно устаревшие. Мебель, стены, углы и ванная с потёртостями и сколами, требуется обновление и ремонт.
Фотографии на сайте не соответствуют текущему состоянию номеров: выглядят новыми, тогда как по факту номера давно не обновлялись.
В номере была заявлена плита, но фактически она отсутствовала — была закрыта и зафиксирована деревянной панелью, воспользоваться ею невозможно.
В номере нет чая и кофе, несмотря на то, что на фотографиях присутствует кофемашина. Чай можно взять на ресепшене в дневное время.
Кондиционер шумный, работает без переносного пульта, управление осуществляется с настенного блока с ограниченным количеством режимов. Даже на минимальном режиме шум заметный.
В туалете нет вытяжки, после душа пар остаётся в комнате, уходит только при открытой двери.
Телевизор показывает только тайские каналы, Smart TV отсутствует, подключение телефона невозможно.
Кухонная зона оборудована раковиной, шкафчиками и посудой, но нефункциональна из-за отсутствия плиты.
Из-за общего износа поверхностей номер визуально выглядит неаккуратно, несмотря на уборку.

Удобное расположение рядом с M-Sphere, Emporium и M-кварталом, что было основной причиной выбора отеля.
