"We had a fantastic stay the MountainTrip resort. Even before arrival they helped coordinate a private transfer for us to get to Shangri-La. They picked us up from the airport for free (which is a long drive). We also used their free drive to nearby Baisha. The room was spacious, clean, and had plenty of amenities (fridge, free drinks, toiletries). The bathrooms were modern. When we arrived late they still offered us their daily tea and drinks. We had breakfast and a couple other meals at the hotel and always found the food delicious and well balanced. Attached a few of their daily menus. The family enjoyed petting and feeding their goats and ponies. They would give us food to feed them. The flowers were beautiful. Our stay will likely be a highlight of our trip to Yunnan. Thank you to the wonderful hotel staff!"

"The room had a projector, and the B&B even had streaming service memberships for binge-watching, which was great! You could see Jade Dragon Snow Mountain from the room, and it was cleaned very well. The owner was super enthusiastic and helped us with our luggage (even braving the rain to do so, many thanks!). The watermelon was also very sweet, and all the facilities were excellent. The third-floor viewing deck had amazing scenery, with a beautiful blue pool and lovely tables and coffee tables. The view was expansive, perfect for seeing Jade Dragon Snow Mountain, and made for some fantastic photos."

"The room was very clean, and the host was super friendly and helpful with luggage. There's also a Samoyed named Mitsu who is incredibly friendly; my kids absolutely adored her and couldn't bear to leave. The dog was very clean and well-behaved. Overall, the guesthouse was very quiet."

"The path from Lijiang Old Town to the B&B is a bit narrow in some sections. Our Didi driver actually dropped us off less than 200 meters from the B&B, making us walk the rest of the way ourselves! Honestly, those 200 meters weren't actually that bad. The B&B owner apologized when he found out and upgraded our room! The room I originally booked already exceeded my expectations, but the upgraded room on the second floor was even more beautiful. From the floor-to-ceiling windows, you could see mountains and fields. The rooftop terrace offered expansive views, and occasionally you could catch a glimpse of the Jade Dragon Snow Mountain's peak, though unfortunately, the clouds were too thick and there was no snow on the top. The B&B service was incredibly nice. The two young men working there were also very enthusiastic, not only helping us with our luggage but also giving us detailed recommendations for good restaurants and unique cafes nearby. They even gave us some fruit. The B&B is just a few minutes' walk from Baisha Ancient Town. The breakfast at the B&B was also very clean and exquisite!"

"This hotel was a very pleasant surprise and one of the highlights of our stay in Lijiang. The rooms are spacious and come with a private hot spring tub, which was the perfect way to relax after a long day exploring Lijiang Ancient Town. Both my children absolutely loved it, and it became something we looked forward to every evening. The service was exceptional. The staff were warm, attentive, and always ready to help. At times, it felt like having a private concierge at our fingertips. We also appreciated the complimentary minibar, snacks, afternoon tea, and hotel transfers in a comfortable vehicle. As we were travelling with children, I requested rooms close to each other, and the hotel kindly upgraded one of our rooms to accommodate our request. The kids were also delighted by the buggy rides around the property. Some travelers may find the hotel slightly further from the old town, but for us, that was actually a plus. It provided a peaceful environment to relax and unwind away from the crowds. The private hot spring tub alone makes it worth staying here. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would definitely choose this hotel again when we return to Lijiang."

"This is a wonderful hotel to stay in at Baisha ancient town, about 20 minutes from the centre of Lijiang. The room was enormous and very clean with a view of the mountains. The host was very generous and friendly, we had tea every night after I’d been out exploring every day. He even drove me in his own car to catch the tour bus to Yulong Snow Mountain. I would highly recommend this hotel if you want a quieter experience yet only a few minutes walk to Baisha ancient town."

"We had an amazing stay at this Mountain Spring in Yunnan! The place was exceptionally clean and well maintained, and the hosts were incredibly warm and welcoming. From the moment we arrived, they made us feel right at home. The food was delicious and we especially loved being surrounded by the animals around the property. They added so much charm and joy to our stay. The peaceful atmosphere truly made this place feel like a home away from home. One of the highlights was the breathtaking view of Jade Dragon Snow Mountain (Yulong Snow Mountain) right from our room. Waking up to that view every morning was unforgettable. What made the experience even more special was how much our kids enjoyed their time there. They were able to feed the animals, interact and play with them freely, and even pick fresh vegetables and fruits from the farm. It was a wonderful hands-on experience that allowed them to connect with nature and learn where food comes from. The owner was incredibly friendly and passionate about what he does. He personally took us around his plantations, shared his knowledge about farming, and patiently explained how different fruits and vegetables are grown. We learned so much during our stay and truly appreciated his generosity in sharing his experience with us. The farm stay also has a lovely café where guests can relax and enjoy afternoon tea while taking in the beautiful surroundings. It was the perfect place to unwind, enjoy a cup of coffee or tea, and soak in the peaceful atmosphere of the farm and the stunning mountain views. Another huge bonus is that there is a ranch right next to the property with even more animals. Our kids absolutely loved it! They had plenty of space to run around, interact with the animals, and feed them. It added another layer of fun and adventure to the trip, making it an unforgettable experience for the whole family. They’ve in house professional photographer provided by the farm stay. It was fantastic because we get to dress up in their traditional costume which was also inclusive!! We were pleasantly surprised that complimentary photos were included for guests staying there. Photos were awesome because the Yulong snow mountain is right outside our resort. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Yunnan, especially families with children. If you’re looking for a cozy, authentic, educational, and memorable experience, this is definitely the place to stay. We left with wonderful memories, beautiful photos, and a much deeper appreciation for farm life and nature. It truly felt like a home away from home, and we can’t wait to come back again!"

"This is the best B&B I've ever stayed at – a wonderland that feels just like home. It perfectly matches all my expectations for a vacation rental. The basic cleanliness goes without saying, and the entire place exudes a serene atmosphere. The natural beauty is breathtaking; having Jade Dragon Snow Mountain right in front of you is an incredible experience. But more importantly, there's a group of people here who feel more like family than friends, making everyone feel relaxed and comfortable. The lovely younger staff, the hospitable manager, the talkative chef, and the enthusiastic dog all became my family during my time in Yunnan. My stay happened to coincide with the Dragon Boat Festival, and everyone invited me to join their big family celebration with the best food and wine. The loneliness of solo travel was completely enveloped by warmth here. Thank you to the B&B and to everyone for their incredible hospitality. My only regret is not being able to stay a few more days. But I'm confident we'll all meet again in the future."

The environment is absolutely stunning; opening the window reveals a continuous vista of snowy mountains, and it's wonderfully quiet, far from the hustle and bustle of the city. Everything is meticulously cleaned and tidy, from the bedding to the bathroom. The staff are warm, attentive, and always happy to provide patient guidance for getting around and sightseeing. Overall, I'm extremely satisfied."

"The sunny days in Yunnan are incredibly healing, with blue skies and white clouds. The guesthouse's location is superb, very close to the snow-capped mountains with fantastic views. We took our child during the summer holiday and stayed in the family room. The room was spacious and airy, with a fun and cute style that our child absolutely loved. The huge floor-to-ceiling windows offered direct, full-score views of the beautiful scenery. Our whole family had a very comfortable stay."
