"Wonderful stay at B&B Hotel Firenze Laurus al Duomo and would stay here again. We walked from Firenze Santa Maria Novella with a large check in and hand luggage each with no major issues, mostly flat path except a small section of the walk had uneven path but the 500m distance from the station is definitely manageable. First impressions and experience arriving at the hotel were excellent. Cute artsy decor with a lounge area in the lobby and first floor. Reception ladies were so friendly and welcoming and were ready to help us with the door and luggage as soon as they saw us arrive. Hotel is clean with a comfortable bed, great air conditioning system and provides a reasonable amount of amenities for our stay including a mini fridge and heated towel rack as an added bonus. Would have preferred a rain shower in our bathroom but by all means not an issue as the water pressure was still very strong and liked there were doors for the shower so water does not leak onto the floor. Location is fantastic! A block away from the Duomo and you can even see if from your room if you have booked a room with a view, otherwise at breakfast you can see it on the outside terrace. Also, central to a department store, designer stores, local supermarket and abundance of food options nearby. The location also feels safe to be walking around after dinner."

"The hotel is a five-minute walk from the train station. The surrounding streets were quite diverse, with a noticeable presence of Black people. There were also plenty of restaurants nearby, offering a wide range of dining options. Cleanliness: As an older hotel, the facilities were a bit dated. However, the room was reasonably clean, though quite small and a bit cramped for two people. A big plus was the very strong air conditioning. Service: The service was acceptable. The gentleman at the front desk was quite handsome, and the older gentleman was also very European and gentlemanly, which was pleasant to see. Breakfast: The breakfast was good, with plenty of choices, though the croissants were just average. A waiter proactively offered coffee and tea. The restaurant had consecutively been awarded Michelin stars before 2018, with a label proudly displayed at the hotel entrance. Local Amenities: If you exit the hotel, turn right, then turn left after about 20 meters, you'll find a local, affordable supermarket selling bread, fruit, vegetables, and milk, which is very convenient."

"A small boutique hotel, a small surprise on this trip, leaving the train station to take a direct tram ride. For breakfast, the chef can order it now. However, the reservation should be noted that Ctrip does not include the city tax and does not indicate that the actual price is higher than other booking websites."

"The staff were extremely pleasant and helpful throughout. The hotel is centrally located, so ideal for lots of walking to the main sights in Firenze and within a 10 minute walk from the train station. Unfortunately, the room we had didn't have any view apart from some rooftops. However, we were out most of the time enjoying the food, drinks, and sights of the cobbled streets of the town."

"I rarely write reviews, but I simply *had* to this time! After checking out, I discovered my car wouldn't start – I'd foolishly left something on and completely drained the battery. Within just 5 minutes, the amazing ladies at the front desk found the incredibly resourceful Alessio for me. He first brought a battery charger, but when he realized it couldn't reach, he immediately drove another car over to use its battery to jump-start mine. The entire process was completed within 10 minutes, and it was absolutely free! So, a huge shout-out to [Hotel Name] for such outstanding service, big thanks to the front desk team (both the ladies and gentlemen), and a special, massive thank you to Alessio!"

"Comfortable stay. Need to walk quite a bit from the main station but doable. We did few day tours and its near to the tour meeting point (Piazzale Montelungo, Firenze Bus Stop). Pre-pack breakfast is available upon request for early mornings"

"Very satisfied with all aspects of the hotel, better than expected! Located in the center of Florence, by the river, the hotel itself is an ancient building, well preserved, and downstairs is the luxury street. The room is very large, exquisitely decorated, typical European style, from curtains to furniture and wallpaper are bright yellow and light green. There is a beautiful view of the Arno River outside the window. The bathroom has a shower and a separate oversized massage bathtub. The room is well soundproofed and quiet. The rooftop terrace is awesome, and the view of Florence at sunset is no less than that of Piazzale Michelangelo. The rooftop bar is also great. In short, highly recommended 👍🏻"

"Located in the west of Florence, if you don't have a chartered car, you need to take a train from Florence to Empoli Station, and then take a taxi for 25 minutes to the hotel (about 50 euros). The hotel is in the fields, and it takes a while to drive from the town. There are many hotels and folk customs on each small hill nearby. The hotel is very large. In addition to the accommodation area, it is surrounded by grape fields, farms, and areas for hotel project activities. The environment is very beautiful, close to nature, and implements the original ecological concept. Some of the restaurant ingredients come from their own farms. There are cypress trees of different heights on the surrounding country roads. It seems that a batch of small trees were planted along the road for tourists to take pictures, so that they can become a row of neat cypress trees. The hotel's architectural style is an Italian farm. The exterior looks simple, the interior is relatively gorgeous, and the Renaissance decoration is beautiful and atmospheric. It was foggy in the early morning, and the fog dissipated before noon. There was plenty of light in the afternoon, and the sunset in the evening was very beautiful on the fields. The sunrise and the forest opened, and the scenery was different in four seasons. Stayed for 2 nights, during which I experienced truffle picking (155 euros/person) and wine tasting (50 euros/person). It was interesting to experience it. But unlike expected, there was not much participation in truffle picking. We came to a forest and followed the footsteps of truffle hunters and hounds to search in the forest. There were explanations during the period, but we did not experience the process of digging truffles in person. Wine tasting visited the wine cellar and then tasted it outdoors. During the stay, you can walk around the hotel to pass the time and you will not feel bored. The greenery is relaxing. In fact, some scenes can also be seen in most rural areas, but the hotel's supporting facilities cannot keep up. We need to return to the hotel to get a holiday-like rest after walking tired. The hotel has two restaurants, including breakfast. One restaurant is a local restaurant, and the other restaurant is a Michelin green star. The taste is pretty good. You can only choose between them during the stay because there are no other restaurants nearby. It is worth mentioning that the pool selection suite where I stayed on the second night is close to the swimming pool. You can go swimming as soon as you open the door, but many bugs were found in the room. The hotel service was uneven. One of the interns did not speak English well, and it took us a long time to communicate about changing rooms. The other intern was fluent in English and had a good service attitude. On the return trip, I chose to have the hotel make an appointment to send me to Empoli Station (68 euros)."
