2-Star Hotels in Cordillera Administrative Region, Philippines

We enjoyed our short stay here, and the customer service from the staff and owner was excellent. The view and the place are beautiful, though there are some opportunities to improve the place I observed, such as the lack of transportation vehicles, which is inevitable since the transient is located on almost a mountain top. There are also some noise disturbances due to construction done to expand the place for free parking lots if you happen to bring your own vehicle there and food deliveries. You need to bring your own foods for lunch and dinner, or at least some ingredients to cook since you can use the kitchen there due to the limited foods they are offering, like silog's for breakfast. However, despite all the opportunities to improve that I found there, I still love it and wanted to recommend the place, because if you seek peace of mind, cool weather, and a mountain view, you may wish to go there; it's worth trying. Also, you will probably meet some foreign people there from other countries who are also staying in the same transient. 🥰🥰👍👍👍

We stayed at 706 rm. We stayed there for an overnight since it is the nearest location of the event that I need to attend. I was embarrassed and disappointed during my check-in. I filled-in the form and when she (small girl with black blazer) asked for a deposit, I immediately went at the nearest ATM machine which is located across the street, I repeat, IMMEDIATELY. So typically, it did not took long for me to withdraw. When I came back, it seems she cannot remember me! Even asked again to fill-in their form and check my booking! When I went to my room, I did not expect an extravagant room since I only paid the room in budget. But, as a hotel room, AT LEAST THERE SHOULD BE A TELEPHONE. Yes, NO TELEPHONE INSIDE THE ROOM! I have to load my mobile phone to call the front desk! HAHAHAHA! Bidet is not present as well, but it is not a big deal for me. But I know some people will look for bidet inside of a hotel comfort room. At night, we thought we were sleeping beside a local market. LOUD VOICES FROM THE HALLWAY, BANGING OF DOORS, LOUD LAUGHS! Until morning, we can still hear them! Breakfast came, and we are not facilitated very well on where to seat. We have to stand inside of the buffet area looking for an empty table and chair. NO INITIATIVE FROM THE STAFF. Early in the morning but they look very tired and exhausted. I am embarrassed with my partner since he is also a hotelier, specifically as FOM in a five star hotel in Manila and I can see his frustration in his eyes. We did not initiate to voice out this during checkout because we just want already to leave this hotel. Well, it's up to you guys if you will not check these criticisms for you to improve your services. After all, numerous hotels are being constructed here in Baguio, and you should strive to be competitive enough to sustain yourselves in the hospitality industry.

If you're after the basic amenities for lodging and accommodations, this facility is perfect especially for family trips where the budget is quite limited. It's already value for money given the cost and the space the rooms provide. The food is not so bad either and is far better than other newer, fancier hotels in Baguio. It is also ideal for quick business trips or office seminars/conferences since it is far from the center of distractions, traffic and hustle and bustle of the city.

Check-in was fast, i had to check the room they were going to give me the day before, and it was in the back so was fairly quiet. View from my room was the back porch of a residential area, but was relatively quiet. I needed time to recharge and catch some sleep and that i did! Wifi was intermittent and slow coz my room was at the far end, but at least i didn't have to suffer with people and kids walking by my room( i heard kids roaming around just a bit), and sound-proofed enough. Bathroom was clean, all-glass (door doubled up as shower door for privacy) basic toiletries were provided as well as the towels which faintly smelled of chlorine. I did brought alcohol sprays and sanitizers and cleaned the room myself. Air-conditioning was cool enough and muted all the ambient noise outside (a plus for me), huge flat-screen tv was good enough, but had all those cable channels in a foreign language. Bed was a surprise coz i was expecting a springy or noisy matress, but it was neither soft nor rock hard, just firm enough for my back(had a good sleep), and pillows good too( just bring your own pillowcases). Breakfast was included in the room and i was alone so i had 2 servings, the dried fish, and the sausages with eggs,plus unlimited coffee and juice. Hotel has an in-house restaurant which served mostly Asian food, i didn't ask if they still have a buffet coz they had one before the pandemic. There's a well-known restaurant too in the ground floor of the hotel and i think you can order food there too if you want to eat in. (just stayed away from the crowd) Clean room, clean bathroom, and breakfast. Small luxuries with a quiet room. Reasonable rates. Good enough for 4 stars out of 5 for me.

The rooms are quite small to begin with and it would be worse if you take those locked-in inner rooms, which feel claustrophobic. We were quite unlucky to stay during bad weather, forcing us to stay indoors and there was basically nothing to do. You can't even while away the time with sightseeing. It is also important to have your own car if you book at this place. I think the jeepney routes don't pass the area and taxis are also few. Since it's quite far from the tourist spots with narrow, descending roads, don't expect a leisurely walk. There's not much to expect of the free breakfast, with limited choices of rice with either daing, corned beef or longanisa, served plated and in very small portions. Old Orange wood looks cozy and homey, if indeed it's your regular home, but not as a rented transient place, which I can imagine would be too cramped on a brisk booking day. Overall, don't expect too much.

I highly recommend Banaue Sunrise Guesthouse if you are planning to stay in Banaue. It is about 5 mins walk to public market. They serve very delicious food so you dont have to go out. During breakfast they also give unlimited coffee. The staffs are very accomodating. Parking is no problem as they will guide you on the parking space, although expect it to be an inclined parking.

Had the best time staying with Inn Rocio. Very cozy and homey vibes all over the place. Me & my family loved the breakfast and their restaurant La Parilla. Also, the receptionist was kind enough to give us late checkout. You actually don’t need a fan or aircon in the room as it is already freezing cold because of the Baguio weather. Just wanted to suggest maybe have some additional amenities like toothbrush, shampoo, conditioner etc. Also, bidet in the bathrooms. But all in all, our stay was awesome and definitely worth it. Will be back again for sure!

We love the antique vibes of this place. It has a nice breakfast views. We just called their number for reservarion. Their customer service is good. Our family room is huge. We slept well. I didn’t stay here. I only had some snacks and bought tickets for tonight’s show at the Cozy Cove (which I discovered on YouTube). I had a strawberry and blueberry granola bowl (it’s a cold version) and a cup of cafe latte. I also had a good time looking at photos on display.

The room was big enough and it was clean. The linens were very clean, nice pillows, and clean bathrooms. Good wifi connections. It was also nice that hot and cold water dispenser is available just outside the rooms. Staffs were kind and pleasant. Upon checking in you have to sign some docs stating penalties for linen and bed stains and additional charge for extra hours. We are very careful while eating some take home foods but they were considerate of unintentional extra minutes or an hour. Their resto is just on the first floor in case you want to eat but lazy to venture outside. The hotel is walking distance to bus station, Session Road, SM, Burnham Park, and night market, so very easy if taxis are hard to find. Worth mentioning also is the outlet store at the ground floor of the hotel building that sells imported chocolates, goods, and other stuffs in discounted prices. Wasn't able to take some pics but overall we had a nice stay in this hotel.
