"This hotel is just a magical place. A vat of hot water and decoction relieves fatigue after a long road. I experienced pleasure and relaxation. I had a wonderful dream. The girls at the front desk are caring like sisters. The pillows are soft and comfortable for sleeping. Delicious and pleasant breakfast in the morning. I recommend this hotel and want to come back here again!"

"The most notable parts of our stay were the service and the hotel design. Firstly, the hotel is beautifully designed with such a peaceful atmosphere. Secondly, we experienced some issues with the amenities but the service by the front desk and other staff was excellent. Our issue with the amenities was a shower that did not drain the used water, and therefore prevented us from using the bath tub which was meant to be the defining point of our stay at the hotel. Once the water finally drained at midnight, the drain started emitting a stale, moldy smell that filled the room.  The front desk staff were quick to understand and apologize for the issue with the amenities and stated that they would resolve it ASAP for next guest."

"We had a generally pleasant experience staying at this property. The hotel van picked us up from the railway station too. Staff are courteous and friendly. We were provided with free bottles of water upon requests too. The only but a huge problem we encountered was a QR placard placed on the table which says SCAN FOR FREE WIFI. Upon scanning, my phone was directed to WeChat app. I just ignored it, but 2 days later when we were already in Dujiangyan, my WeChat account was suddenly blocked due to serious violation of WeChat rules. I tried everything to unblock it but none helped. I even asked assistance from Chengdu police located inside the Tianfu Square metro station but that didn’t help too. I believe some hotel staff placed that QR code in purpose."

"The best place to stay in the Old Town Food Street! The huge hot spring bath was perfect for the whole family to relax in after a long day. After a soak, we strolled through the streets and unexpectedly stumbled upon Leshan's old city wall. The night view of the Leshan Giant Buddha across the Dadu River was absolutely stunning. The smiles from the front desk staff were also a really important touch for travelers, making us feel welcomed and wishing us a smooth journey. The morning surprise was seeing winter swimmers in the Dadu River – Leshan's city management is truly impressive, and the local lifestyle is just so enviable."

"This hotel is pretty good. The location is excellent, about an 8-minute walk from the Baoguo Temple Visitor Center. The room is also very spacious and even has a mahjong machine. The heating works really well; it even woke me up at night because it was so warm. The front desk staff are incredibly friendly. One even personally picked us up from the high-speed rail station and recommended some great local restaurants (which turned out to be delicious). Now for the downsides. First, the hot spring isn't great. The water temperature was only 37 degrees Celsius, and only two small pools were open. Initially, I wasn't given a locker key. After closing the locker and realizing I couldn't open it, I asked an elderly hotel staff member, who told me to go to the hot spring reception myself for a key. So, in just a thin bathrobe, in 9-degree weather, I had to run down to get a key and come back to soak again. (The hotel front desk staff initially said I could change in my room first, but since the hot spring was a bit of a distance, I decided to go dressed to avoid the cold – which clearly backfired). Secondly, the attitude of the front desk staff is inconsistent. Some are as amazing as Haidilao (a famous hot pot restaurant known for its excellent service), while others are very cold and unhelpful. The day before, I called to book a pick-up service, and a different staff member told me the driver finished at 5 PM and couldn't pick me up for my 6 PM train. But then, on the day of check-in, about 2 hours beforehand, I received a call saying they could pick me up personally (this was likely the good-attitude staff member). It was a bit confusing, and I even double-checked with Trip.com customer service to confirm it was the hotel calling before I felt comfortable getting in the car. On the second afternoon, after coming down from Mount Emei, I called the hotel front desk to ask for recommendations for good restaurants nearby, and also complimented them on yesterday's delicious recommendations. The person on the phone (likely the less enthusiastic staff member again) told me to just eat at the same place as yesterday, offering no other suggestions. It's very clear that some staff genuinely want to provide good service, while others are just going through the motions. The difference is stark. Finally, the bed wasn't very comfortable. I barely slept through the night on both nights, waking up every 2-3 hours. Overall, it's still worth recommending. I wish the hotel a booming business."

"The next door exclusive pool room was still available so I moved there. The room was big enough for a party and the bed was also very big. The bedding was hygienic, but the hygiene of some parts of the room needed to be improved. The hotel is very conveniently located, with Jiaxing Road Food Street downstairs."

"The hotel was very comfortable, and the service and amenities was excellent. We had an issue with our Didi driver, but the hotel staff were very helpful to resolve the problem for us. The private hot spring bath in our room was so lovely to relax in after a long day of hiking, and the breakfast had a good selection to choose from. There was also a complimentary private shuttle service to transport us to and from the train station. The staff were always polite and friendly, and frequently checked in with us to make sure that we were enjoying our stay - definitely a place to return to in the future."

"I've already reviewed this, but I have to emphasize it again! My original booking was for check-in on the 13th and check-out on the 15th. However, on the day of check-in, the 13th, I made a last-minute decision to extend my stay from the 15th to the 16th. At that time, there was an international martial arts competition, and all the foreign guests were staying at this hotel, which meant our original room type was unavailable for the 15th to the 16th. Just as we were getting frustrated, ta-da! Our lovely and sweet account manager, Ms. Zhang Hui, helped us promptly resolve the issue and adjust the room! She managed to secure our original room for the 13th-15th, saving us the trouble and hassle of having to pack our bags and switch rooms on the 15th. We are truly grateful and thankful! I want to specifically mention and thank Manager Zhang Hui again! She's amazing!"

"This was my first trip to Emei Mountain, and I stayed at this hotel. It was a really great experience. Mila at the front desk provided excellent service; she was incredibly responsive and even gave us a complimentary room upgrade, which I really appreciated. After a long day of traveling, a private hot spring soak at the hotel was incredibly relaxing. They also offered a complimentary afternoon tea, and when we checked out, they even gave us some local Emei Mountain specialties, which was a lovely touch. I'll definitely choose to stay here again on my next visit to Emei Mountain."

"Due to a late booking, I could only get a Rome King Room. The room was in Building 2, and it was quite a walk to the hot springs, which wasn't very convenient. The lighting in the room was dim, especially in the duplex suite with a mahjong table that my family booked – the lighting was so poor you couldn't even see the mahjong tiles clearly. It definitely wasn't worth the 880 price tag. The toiletries in the room were also subpar. I suspect this hotel's high ratings are mostly fake. Furthermore, most of the hot spring pools had low water temperatures, and the ones that were warm were packed like sardines. The hygiene was also pretty average. I probably won't choose this hotel again in the future."
