We enjoyed our stay thanks to the hotel’s excellent location, which still felt pleasantly quiet. Around the small pool, traffic noise was noticeable, but overall the atmosphere remained relaxing. The reception staff were helpful and welcoming, and our room was clean and well maintained. One drawback was the lack of power outlets near the bed, which would have been convenient. We were satisfied with our choice 'pas cher'

Overall, the hotel was better than I expected; the Ctrip rating is a bit low. The biggest drawback was the poor quality of the bath and hand towels, which wasn't too bad, but they also had an indescribable, somewhat industrial smell that persisted for all three days of my stay. This made me hesitant to dry myself thoroughly, sometimes even using my own clothes, though I didn't experience any discomfort. I've stayed in pretty bad hostels in China for around 100 yuan and never encountered towels this poor. Another issue, perhaps common abroad, was that disposable slippers and cotton swabs weren't replenished daily; they were provided once on the third day. Toothpaste and toothbrushes weren't offered at all. The housekeeping during my stay also lagged behind what I'm used to in Chinese hotels, with the sink, for instance, never being cleaned. However, these issues weren't a big deal, likely due to how competitive the hotel industry is in China. Everything else was great: it's less than 300 meters from the light rail, the service attitude was excellent, and the hotel's decor and quality were superb, arguably even better than newer Chinese Ji Hotel branches. The desk for putting things on was exceptionally large—I've never seen one that big—and there was even an entryway seat, something you usually only find in five-star hotels. The shower water, air conditioning, and bedding were all flawless. It was a good stay.

A clean bed, if you come with friends and family it's fine the rooms are big enough, location is close to the subway few shops near by but still do need to walk around fortunately it's silent until you turn on the air-conditioning it's a bit noisy and the shower water pressure a bit slow. Was told to place a deposit of 500 for the key card and any inconveniences, over all is fine for a few days to unwind.

the room size was unmatched to most of the hotels I've stayed ! it's a suite ! so nice to have a living area separated from the bedroom ! The rooftop swimming pool and a little gym I'd give it a 4 out of 5! If it has a little spa and planted more trees and shrubs around the pool area make it a little oasis away from the busy traffic noise I'd spending more time in the rooftop garden. We stayed at the hotel for 5 nights I'd say the breakfast has a lot of room for improvement ! It'd more interesting if the breakfast food has more choices for the western guests! My observation during my stayed it's about 80/20% westerners and Asian!

I had a gap in my booking due to an error with another hotel, so I was looking for a place to just make do for one night in Sathon. I stumbled upon this hotel and was pleasantly surprised by a fantastic feature in the room. Truth be told, the room is quite small, but it boasts a huge glass window! It was especially enjoyable to gaze at the night view outside the room. The night view alone makes it worth it and deserves a high rating.

I had a very disappointing stay at this hotel. The staff were very helpful and polite, but unfortunately, everything else was a bad experience. On the first day, I was assigned room 706. The bed was extremely soft and felt like the springs had collapsed. When I informed the staff, I was told there were no other rooms available. On the second day, a different staff member kindly helped to change my room to 307. However, it was located right next to the staircase, and there was a strong sewage smell as soon as I opened the door. It was very unpleasant. On the fourth day, after housekeeping cleaned the room, they left the window open and didn’t close it. As a result, I was bitten by mosquitoes during the night, and even worse, I experienced what seemed like bed bug bites. My whole body became very itchy with multiple bites. Although the hotel is conveniently located near the BTS, the overall condition is old and outdated, and cleanliness is not up to standard. Overall, this was a very uncomfortable and disappointing stay. I would not recommend it.

Facilities: Decent, the bathroom has a separate wet and dry area. Just remember to bring your own toothbrush as they don't provide one. Cleanliness: Okay. Ambiance: Pretty good. Service: They offer free luggage storage, and the security guards were very helpful with carrying my bags both when I arrived and when I left, which was great.

I recently stayed at Kudi Hostel and was pleasantly surprised by how comfortable and welcoming it was. From the moment I arrived, the staff made me feel at home with their friendliness and willingness to help. Check-in was smooth and efficient, and they provided clear information about the facilities, nearby attractions, and transportation options. The rooms are clean, modern, and thoughtfully arranged. The beds come with privacy curtains, individual reading lights, and personal lockers, which make the dorms feel secure and comfortable. The air-conditioning works well, and the bedding is soft and fresh, ensuring a good night’s sleep. The shared bathrooms are kept tidy throughout the day, with enough showers and amenities so that guests rarely have to wait. One of the highlights of Kudi Hostel is its social atmosphere. The common areas are cozy and designed for guests to relax, work, or chat with other travelers. Whether you’re staying alone or with friends, it’s easy to meet new people and share travel tips. The staff also gives great recommendations for food, cafés, and nightlife around the area. The location is another strong advantage. The hostel is situated close to public transportation, making it convenient to explore the city. There are plenty of restaurants, convenience stores, and local markets within walking distance, which adds to the overall convenience of the stay. In terms of value for money, Kudi Hostel definitely stands out. The price is affordable, especially considering the cleanliness, hospitality, and quality of the facilities. It’s a great choice for backpackers, solo travelers, and anyone looking for a comfortable and budget-friendly stay in a lively part of the city. Overall, I highly recommend Kudi Hostel for its warm service, clean environment, and excellent location. I would gladly stay here again on my next visit.

DDaxianyunyoushijie## Prime Location & Accessibility * This is an established luxury five-star hotel situated in the heart of Bangkok's commercial district. It's right next to the Erawan Shrine, and within walking distance to Siam Paragon, Central World, and Big C. The Chit Lom BTS station is just a stone's throw away, making both taxis and the Skytrain incredibly convenient for getting around. * Ideal for business travelers, shoppers, and those who appreciate classic luxury. Younger guests seeking minimalist, modern design might find it a bit traditional. ## Facilities & Services 1. **Guest Rooms:** Recently renovated by Tony Chi, the rooms are elegant and comfortable with high-quality linens and excellent soundproofing. Some entry-level room sizes are a bit compact for a city-center hotel. Welcome fruits and well-stocked toiletries are provided. 2. **Dining:** Breakfast offers a good variety (Thai + Western). Erawan Tea Room is a Michelin-recommended Thai restaurant, and the Executive Lounge service is consistently good. Some restaurant prices are on the higher side. 3. **Leisure:** The pool isn't huge, better suited for relaxation than extended swimming. The spa has an excellent reputation with professional therapists. The gym is open 24/7 with a full range of equipment. 4. **Service:** The front desk is efficient, and Globalist benefits are well-executed. Chinese-speaking staff are available. The hotel upholds the strong attention to detail and consistency expected of a long-standing five-star property. 5. **Ambiance:** Features a high-ceilinged lobby with a blend of European and Thai decor, exuding an 'Old Money' vibe. While well-maintained, it has a sense of history rather than a modern, minimalist aesthetic.

GGuest UserThis is the most complete hostel I've ever been to. There are six floors with several balconies and all of it remains spotless. The common areas are awesome. The river view is amazing I look forward to seeing the fireworks on the river every time. The staff are friendly and accomodating and there are more than enough bathrooms and showers for everybody here. I don't have anything to complain about, I like it a lot here

AAlexTannThis hotel was the last stop on our trip to Thailand. Compared to The Nai Harn, it felt grander and more business-oriented, which was evident from the breakfast spread – definitely geared more towards business travelers. We stayed on the executive floor, though it wasn't an executive room itself... which I found a bit odd. The hotel's decor has a retro, old-fashioned vibe, making it feel less like a holiday retreat for me personally. However, these weren't major issues. The staff's service attitude was consistently excellent. The main pool was quite busy, possibly because two youth football teams were staying there, so there were lots of people playing and having fun. It was still a good experience overall.

KKantabuliyazhangchangzongI was quite hesitant about this hotel after reading the reviews, but after staying there, I can say its location is excellent, right by the river. The biggest selling point is definitely the riverside access, especially the free shuttle boat. This shuttle can take you to S-pier, which connects to all the major blue and orange line attractions. Taking the metro isn't the most convenient option, but you can also get to S-pier and transfer there. From my window, I could see the Ferris wheel, and there's a night market right downstairs. However, the shuttle service ends at 9 PM, which is a big drawback, as it's about a 5-minute walk from there. Also, if you're close to the river at night, you might hear the rumble of boats in the middle of the night. While the hotel facilities are a bit old, they're not dirty. I loved the bed – it was incredibly soft and comfortable; I honestly didn't want to get up! The beds are huge. Even though they're single beds, two pushed together are bigger than beds in China, easily sleeping three people. I skipped the hotel breakfast as I'd already spent a lot of money these past few days. In the afternoon, there's hot coffee in the lobby, which is a nice touch (though it's the only one). They also have iced water, chrysanthemum tea, and roselle tea, plus some biscuits. In the mornings, there are croissants and hot coffee that you can take with you. It's like a simple meal, and it's not bad at all. One of the front desk staff speaks Chinese, so communication wasn't an issue. The hotel requires a deposit, as it's a major international brand. The bottled water in the room is complimentary and NSF certified, so feel free to drink up. The razor provided was quite good, and the water pressure in the shower was strong. From 9:30 PM to 10:00 PM, there's a singer performing in the lobby, which you can discreetly listen to. There's also legitimate massage available outside. If you get hungry at night, there's a 7-Eleven and some street food stalls about 50 to 100 meters away. I wouldn't say the food is amazing or terrible, but you can try the oyster omelet. As for the swimming pool, it's actually quite nice, being on the first floor and very spacious. If your main goal is to explore along the river, this hotel is perfect. However, if you're looking to frequent places like Nana, this location might not be ideal.

GGuest UserI spent 17 nights at this hotel and couldn’t be happier with my choice for a remote work and vacation stay. The room has a spacious desk where I could work comfortably, and the internet speed was consistently fast. The bed was also very comfortable. I had no trouble falling asleep at all. I’d say it’s on par with the bed at Parkroyal Collection Pickering in Singapore. The room was clean and a decent size, and the shower had strong water pressure. Locationwise, it’s about a 20-minute walk to Sala Daeng BTS or Lumphini MRT. While it may not be very close to public transport for some, one of the best things about the location is that it’s surrounded by many great restaurants to suit different budgets. In fact, the best Pad Thai I’ve ever had is just a five-minute walk from the hotel.Special thanks to Mr. Kelly from the reception team for providing exceptional service and helping me with any issues during my stay.

EExpat EDventuresWe had a very pleasant stay at Somerset Sukhumvit 71 Bangkok. Check-in was easy and smooth with welcome infused water, and the on-site café was excellent, with delicious breakfast pastries. The beds were firm and clean, the room was comfortable, and housekeeping did a great job cleaning and making our beds daily. We also appreciated that both of our rooms were booked next to each other, which made travelling as a family much easier. Our fourteen-year-old’s bed was already made up upon arrival, which was a thoughtful touch. John, the concierge, was outstanding. He managed to book a same-day bike tour for our family of six and also kindly arranged our airport transfer. His service truly stood out and made our stay even better. Our only disappointment was New Year’s Eve. We had planned to ring in the new year at the rooftop venue, but it was fully booked. I had messaged the hotel in advance through the Trip app but didn’t receive a response. Instead, we followed a restaurant recommendation from the front desk, only to arrive 56 minutes before closing and be told the kitchen was already closed. Two other nearby restaurants were also closed, so we ended up grabbing snacks from the 7-Eleven across the street. The hotel kindly unlocked our balcony so we could at least watch the fireworks from our room. The rooftop restaurant is beautiful, and the pool area is also very nice, although the water was quite cold, so we didn’t swim. The location is a bit far out, but overall, we enjoyed our stay so much that we extended it and booked a third night. A great hotel with excellent service, especially from the concierge, and we would happily stay again.

GGuest UserThe hotel location is convenient, just a 10-minute walk from the BTS Skytrain station. There's also a connected walkway from the second floor of the adjacent EmSphere mall, so you don't have to walk in the sun. The surrounding area is lively, with plenty of food, entertainment, supermarkets, convenience stores, massage places, and malls – very convenient. It's also only about a 10-minute walk to Asok station and Terminal 21. The hotel is a bit old, and the facilities and decor are a bit dated, but it's generally clean and tidy, and the service is warm and friendly.

AAnasdanWe stayed at this hotel for two nights. Cons The rooms are very outdated. Furniture, walls, corners, and the bathroom show visible wear and damage. The rooms clearly need renovation. The photos on the listing do not reflect the current condition of the rooms. They look much newer than they actually are. A stove was listed as an amenity, but in reality it was not usable — it was covered with a fixed wooden panel and could not be opened. There is no tea or coffee in the room, despite a coffee machine being shown in the photos. Tea is available at the reception during daytime only. The air conditioner is very noisy. It is controlled via a wall panel (no remote control) with limited settings, and even on the lowest mode the noise is noticeable. There is no ventilation fan in the bathroom, so steam stays in the room after showering unless the door is opened. The TV offers only Thai channels. There is no Smart TV and no option to connect a phone. The kitchen area has a sink, cabinets, and basic dishes, but it is not functional due to the lack of a stove. Despite cleaning, the room looks visually worn because of the overall condition of the walls and ceiling. Pros The bed is comfortable, with two pillows per person. Clean bed linen. The bathroom was clean, with good water pressure. The room includes a new hairdryer, a refrigerator, dishes, and cutlery. There is a balcony facing the courtyard, where smoking is allowed. The staff were polite and helpful. The receptionist spoke good English and explained everything clearly, and the housekeeping staff were also very friendly. The hotel provides a golf cart shuttle to nearby shopping malls. The location is convenient, close to M-Sphere, Emporium, and the M District, which was the main reason we chose this hotel. Overall Suitable for a short stay of one night. The main drawback is the outdated rooms and mismatch with the photos. The location and staff are the hotel’s strongest points.

AAnonymous UserA good location for travellers looking for a quieter neighbourhood compared to the usual sukhumvit experience, but I wouldn’t stay here again. 1. Gets really inaccesible to convenience stores (they do sell limited options of snacks - at a surcharge of course) 2. Engaged their laundry services, almost couldn’t get it back and wanted to bill me an additional fee to get it back in time for me to checkout and catch my flight. Turns out one of my pants was damaged along the way but made no comments about it till I found out. Didn’t pursue this matter as I have to catch a flight, no time to look for resolutions. 3. Was back at the hotel one of the days slightly earlier at 4:30pm, to my dismay the room wasn’t cleaned, the crew only came by at 5:30pm and offered to clean the room but it wasn’t convenient for me (I was half asleep too). Subsequently took a mental note that I can’t be back at the hotel till at least 7pm if I need my room to be cleaned Your experience may vary, but certainly not one of the experience I was thinking I would received.

DDezhengjianxiuI stayed here ten years ago when I first visited Bangkok, and it's still great! The room is huge, and it's incredibly quiet at night. There's a bus stop right downstairs, and it's not too far from the Sala Daeng BTS station. The breakfast menu changed daily, which was a nice touch, and overall it was a very comfortable stay. My only minor complaint is that they didn't change the bedsheets during my 7-day stay. The hotel is right next to the Mahanakhon Pixel Tower, and the 20th floor offers a fantastic spot for photos.
