The restaurant is outstanding; the food was delicious and the breakfast buffet was excellent. They also offer tours and helped us book tickets for local activities. "My recent stay at Banyan Tree Yangshuo, Guilin was absolutely breathtaking! Nestled on the picturesque banks of the Li River, every window here frames a living ink wash painting. Waking up to birdsong, I'd open the window to reveal the karst peaks shrouded in morning mist – it truly felt like stepping into a fairyland from a Tang Dynasty poem.🌿 The River View Villas offer stunning vistas of the Li River right from your room. The interior design seamlessly blends Zhuang ethnic charm with modern luxury. Floor-to-ceiling windows by the bathtub even let you soak while watching the sunset, with every detail thoughtfully reflecting Oriental aesthetics. The daily sunset ritual was incredibly therapeutic; watching the golden hour light up the river surface, paired with a handcrafted cocktail, all my worries melted away instantly. ~ The culinary experience was another delightful surprise! The Li River Beer Fish at Baiyun Chinese Restaurant was absolutely divine, and the afternoon tea at Camphor Lounge, paired with handmade osmanthus cake, offered an authentic taste of Guangxi in every bite. The most memorable, however, was the Li River bamboo raft afternoon tea – gently floating amidst the stunning landscape, every snapshot taken turned out picture-perfect 📸. The service team truly sets the gold standard. Our butler, Emily, was incredibly thoughtful and responsive. Her professional, efficient, and highly proactive service was a definite highlight of our stay, thoroughly demonstrating the hotel's first-class service standards. Upon departure, we received a handmade hydrangea souvenir, and even as our car drove away, staff members were still waving goodbye in the distance… Such attention to detail confirmed for me that Banyan Tree is more than just a hotel; it's a spiritual sanctuary worth returning to. I'm already eagerly planning my next trip back to the Li River!"

"This place is impeccable: 1. Our concierge literally responded in less than 5 minutes EVERY TIME. Whenever we need to go somewhere, they called a cart for us almost immediately. They also responded to other nuances quickly, such as hot water, WiFi, everyday issues. 2. The breakfast and afternoon tea are amazing. Everything is FRESHLY made, not pre-packaged food. We, a bunch of 20+’s, fell in love with their chips and fried fish. The fried fish is so good! 3. What really impressed us was that we left an AirPod in the room - they informed us almost immediately before we left. Very honest and attentive people! 4. When we left, the rain was pouring - they were really helpful on loading the luggages, even in very heavy rain to our car. Even with such impeccable services, they never came to bother us “give us a good review on the platform”. So I can assume all reviews here are very honest. Not to mention the beautiful views and the clean pools. We’d definitely come back again!"

"Experienced exceptional service and hospitality. On top of that the room is huge and spacious and has the best views. It was just nice to spend time relaxing in the room. The location is a little out of the way but they provide free shuttle service to the main bustling area which made it convenient. Personally I like it away from all the hustle bustle. Wish the pools are heated so that we can enjoy a dip. The exterior and photo places have quite abit of maintenance work required. But overall is worthwhile to stay here"

"This hotel is absolutely stunning, it feels like an attraction in itself! Our window overlooked the mountains and the 'Impression Sanjie Liu' statue, and I'm sure it would be even more beautiful during lotus season. The hotel gave us a free upgrade to a very spacious room, and the butler was super responsive and quick with service. They also offer complimentary shuttle service to West Street and Jima Wharf. I highly recommend adding the butler on WeChat before you arrive; they helped us book boat tickets from Guilin to Yangshuo and tickets for the Sanjie Liu show, which really saved us a lot of hassle. Our family of four was extremely satisfied with this hotel!"

"Weekend Getaway for a Long-Distance College Couple: A Staycation in a New City This weekend, we came to Guilin Yangshuo! We chose this resort hotel, and the experience was truly great. It's massive, with several buildings, making it feel like a resort. The public area downstairs is like a small plaza, featuring a ten-thousand-square-meter lawn right by the Yulong River, three swimming pools, and a children's playground. It truly feels like a hidden paradise! Besides the ground-floor pool, there are also three open-air rooftop pools with the mountains right behind – absolutely stunning and perfect for photos! 📍The hotel is located in the middle of the Ten-Mile Gallery. You can rent an electric scooter for 30 RMB a day right at the entrance to explore around. It's also very close to Yangshuo county town, with many pastoral landscapes and scenic spots along the way. 📍The room has a great design, and the view from the large floor-to-ceiling windows is beautiful, making for amazing photos. You can also overlook the Yulong River, and bamboo rafts even pass by in the morning! The butler service is very attentive, with thoughtful weather reminders for outings and timely updates on activities. Hotel Activities (So many, with different children's activities daily!) 🐦Cormorant Fishing Show: Very impressive, and you can even take photos with them! 🐰Animal Feeding: They have chinchillas and hamsters! 📷Free Ethnic Costume Photography: No need to spend hundreds on photos anymore! Although it's free, it's done by a professional team and includes retouching. There are many costume sets to choose from. The Yulong River is right next to the lawn, with green mountains and clear waters. The returned photos were super satisfying! 🥣Evening Sweet Soup Service: A bowl of nutritious sweet soup before bed is incredibly comforting, and it tastes really good! ⚽️Ten-Thousand-Square-Meter Lawn: Kids can play in the sand and soccer, with goalposts provided! ✂️Parent-Child Craft Activities also available. Pros: ✅Excellent facilities: Comfortable bedding for a good night's sleep, a bathtub (with disposable liners), a minibar with free drinks🥤, wet/dry separation, a smart toilet, and smart room controls! ✅Rich breakfast: Many varieties of Guilin rice noodles, with different broths, and both dry and soup options, constantly refilled! Free sweet soup is also available in the evening. ✅Plenty of public area activities: You can easily spend a full day just at the hotel. We also took many beautiful photos here. ✅Prime location: Situated within the Ten-Mile Gallery scenic area, with the Yulong River bank right by the lawn. ✅Excellent staff service: They promptly address any issues and enthusiastically provide touring advice. ✅Laundry room: Combined washer-dryer is very convenient. You can wash your swimsuit right after swimming. Cons: ❌Check-out is at 12 PM 😭 Unlike chain hotels, late check-out isn't an option. However, the hotel is so popular that many guests are waiting to check in. So, staying for consecutive nights would offer a better experience!"

"Staying in Yangshuo's Ten-Mile Gallery, I booked this hotel and had a fantastic overall experience! I reserved a mountain-view king room, and opening the window to see the mountains really gave me the feeling of being nestled among them. There's also a kids' play area that could keep my child entertained all day. The bed was super soft and incredibly comfortable for sleeping! The hotel is conveniently located near the Ten-Mile Gallery, Romance Park, Impression Liu Sanjie, and the bamboo raft pier. Highly recommended!"

There's also an amusement park with various facilities right next door, making it ideal for families with children to relax. Cleanliness: The hygiene is excellent. Utensils and rooms are spotless, and a variety of disposable amenities are provided. Environment: Located on the edge of the town, the hotel offers an unobstructed view of the mountains, providing a truly spectacular vista. You can even take photos with the 'Jiangshan Tu' landscape as your backdrop from the comfort of your room's sofa. Between the hotel and the mountains, there are large lotus ponds and flower fields, perfect for a pleasant stroll when it's not too sunny. Service: Excellent breakfast and late-night snacks are provided. The braised noodles are as good as any restaurant's, and you can enjoy a 'goodnight noodle' to refuel after your activities, with unlimited meat refills. Riverside Secret Afternoon Tea: The hotel's public areas are well-appointed, and the lounge bar has great natural light, making it a perfect spot for afternoon tea, taking photos, and casual chats. Welcome Fruit: The welcome fruit selection is varied and fresh, and it's delivered by a robot. Mini-bar All-inclusive: The refrigerator is large and stocked with a wide variety of complimentary beverages. Travel Photography Service: You can choose to take your own photos or hire a studio. "Excellent hotel - location, pool and service! On arrival the lovely lady on reception advised us the room we had booked was probably not best for a family and changed our booking to a more suitable one. The new room was excellent and this moment of great customer service really had a positive impact on us. The hotel is in a brilliant location just on the edge of the very busy downtown/Xi Jie area, but still with plenty of restaurants, shops, ebike hire, etc. right outside the door. and only a very short walk to Xi Jie. It’s also on the river with lovely views of the river and mountains, especially from the pool area. We loved the pool area… gorgeous setting, big enough for fun and proper swimming and a sanctuary from the hustle, bustle and heat of Yangshou. After a days exploring it was a lovely thing to come back to for all the family."
