"The room is compact and modern, with a very comfortable bed and a spacious bathroom. The staff are friendly, and it's highly convenient with a convenience store nearby and a superstore right opposite. Since it’s close to Don Mueang Airport, it's perfect for a layover. I highly recommend asking for a room at the back of the building. I stayed in a front-facing room, which faces the BTS Skytrain line. You can hear the train passing from 5 AM until midnight, making it quite noisy. If you need a peaceful rest, avoid the rooms at the front."

"I recently had the pleasure of staying at the Metro Hotel in Phahonyothin 35, and I can say without hesitation that it is one of the best value-for-money finds in Bangkok. If you are looking for a place that balances affordability with modern amenities and a welcoming atmosphere, this is it. From the moment I checked in, the staff made me feel right at home. The team here is incredibly polite, professional, and genuinely helpful. Whether it was providing directions to the nearby BTS station or ensuring I had everything I needed for my stay, their ”service mind” was evident. It is rare to find such high-quality hospitality at this price point, and it truly elevated the entire experience from start to finish. The rooms themselves are a major standout. They are surprisingly spacious, spotlessly clean, and designed with a sleek, minimal aesthetic that feels very fresh and modern. My bed was incredibly comfortable, ensuring a great night's sleep after a long day of sightseeing. I was also impressed by the thoughtful in-room amenities; having a large refrigerator and a microwave is a massive plus for travelers who want to store snacks or heat up local street food. The Wi-Fi was fast and stable throughout my stay, which made it easy to stay connected. The location in Phahonyothin 35 is perfect for those who want to experience a more authentic side of Bangkok while staying well-connected to the city center. It is just a short, manageable walk or a quick motorbike taxi ride to the BTS Ratchayothin station, which puts the rest of the city within easy reach. The surrounding neighborhood is convenient as well, with a 7-Eleven nearby and plenty of delicious local food stalls along the alley. I also loved the little extras provided by the hotel, like the massage chair in the common area and the free snacks and coffee provided in the lobby. Metro Hotel Phahol 35 is a ”smart travel” choice that doesn't feel like a budget hotel; it feels like a modern home away from home. Between the wonderful staff, the well-equipped rooms, and the unbeatable price, I will definitely be returning on my next trip to Bangkok. I highly recommend this hidden gem to anyone visiting the area."

"🛏️ Room: Good for the price. 🅿️ Parking: Plenty of spaces. 🧼 Cleanliness: Not bad. 🍳 Breakfast: Excellent! Very diverse and delicious. 🧑💼 Staff: ****Everyone, in every department, was lovely – from the security guards, valets, and doormen to the receptionists, fitness center staff, and pool attendants. Even the staff I just encountered in the hallways were genuinely nice, spoke well, and were always smiling. 💡 Needs improvement: The room had a bit of dust, possibly because I stayed in an older building. 🛁 Facilities: The pool is beautiful; you can swim and watch planes fly by. The fitness center has a lot of equipment, and there's a spa (for an extra charge)."

"Quite place, elite company area, location bit far from airport and shopping place. At first bit confused due the mix name, not really clear with the signboard for 5 Chang, there's 3 in one. Need 200 bath deposit for the key. Lady when I'm check-in will be beautiful with smiles 😉 During check-out there's lady with her warm smiles 😘 Clean, comfortable with private space. Walk straight about 10 minutes can found 7 Eleven shop and some walking stall in the afternoon or evening and meat soup in the evening. Morning time walk bit further can found mix rice shop with lots of variety with friendly owners. Sorry no pictures I've delete."

"The room is modern, clean, and well-designed with a warm orange theme that gives a cozy atmosphere. The layout is functional, with a comfortable workspace, TV, and sufficient storage space. The bathroom is also well-maintained and looks newly renovated. However, upon entering the room, there was a slightly musty smell. It seemed to be coming from the bathroom drainage system, which may need attention. In terms of comfort, the bed is quite firm, which may not suit everyone, while the pillows are very soft and comfortable, providing a nice contrast. Overall, the room is visually appealing and well-equipped, but improving the odor issue would significantly enhance the guest experience."

Amazing
GGuest UserI stayed here again after a year and it's still a great experience. The staff are all very friendly and polite. I booked a suite but found that some floors' suites didn't have a washing machine. I asked if I could switch to a room with one, and the front desk immediately agreed! The room was clean, tidy, and had no strange odors; it was spotless. Breakfast on Saturday and Sunday until 11 AM is a huge plus... They have hot waffles, which my kids loved! There's also a food court under the MRT station right by the entrance... very convenient for getting around!

AAnonymous UserMy overall experience at this hotel was excellent. The check-in process was quick and efficient, handled by friendly front desk staff who provided great service. The room was clean and comfortable with a well-designed layout. The bed was soft and provided a good night's sleep, and the bathroom was spotless and bright with a full set of amenities. The overall environment was very relaxing. All in-room facilities, including the air conditioning, Wi-Fi, and TV, worked perfectly, and I encountered no issues during my stay. The hotel's public facilities were also very well-maintained. Whether it was the restaurant, gym, or lounge areas, you could tell they put a lot of effort into their operations. The breakfast offered a wide variety of fresh food, catering to different guests' needs. Moreover, the hotel boasts a convenient location, close to transport links and commercial areas, making it ideal for sightseeing, shopping, or business trips. All in all, this stay left me with a wonderful impression. Not only was the accommodation comfortable, but the staff were also professional and enthusiastic, making for a very pleasant experience. If I have the chance to visit this area again in the future, I would definitely choose this hotel again and recommend it to my friends and family.

코코군This was my first trip to Thailand. I wasn't sure where to book a hotel, so I searched on Trip.com for a good deal and found the Ramkhamhaeng Hotel, located in Ramkhamhaeng, which is about halfway between the airport and the city center. At first, I worried it might be inconvenient since it's a bit far from the train station and major tourist attractions. However, once I got used to Bangkok, the distance didn't feel like a big issue. Still, if you prefer a hotel closer to the station or in the city center, I'd recommend looking elsewhere. As for the hotel itself, it was excellent. The pool on the 31st floor was great for a night swim, and having a 7-Eleven on the first floor was very convenient for any urgent needs. I stayed for three nights and was very satisfied with the facilities; I had no inconveniences. If I visit Bangkok again in the future, I would definitely consider staying here again.

DdjkhcThe facilities were kept clean, and the reception and cleaning staff were very kind! There were three shower rooms and three toilets each for women, and they were cleaned frequently. The shower rooms had shampoo and body soap. There was also one hairdryer in the vanity area. The room had a locker large enough to fit a carry-on size bag, and another locker at the head of the bed for valuables, both of which could be locked, which was reassuring. I brought a converter from Japan for the outlets, but it wasn't necessary. There were two outlets by the bed, so it wasn't inconvenient at all. The laundry room was on the 3rd floor, and I could hang my washed clothes there to dry. Since it's a well-ventilated indoor space, my laundry wouldn't get wet even during a squall. The fish market is nearby, so I noticed a slight fishy smell until I got to the hostel, but overall, it was a very satisfying stay! I'm glad I chose to stay here!

AAlexTannThis hotel was the last stop on our trip to Thailand. Compared to The Nai Harn, it felt grander and more business-oriented, which was evident from the breakfast spread – definitely geared more towards business travelers. We stayed on the executive floor, though it wasn't an executive room itself... which I found a bit odd. The hotel's decor has a retro, old-fashioned vibe, making it feel less like a holiday retreat for me personally. However, these weren't major issues. The staff's service attitude was consistently excellent. The main pool was quite busy, possibly because two youth football teams were staying there, so there were lots of people playing and having fun. It was still a good experience overall.

TTobychowchowThis was my first time staying at a riverside hotel. After 5 nights in the city center, we moved here for two nights. The website mentioned a shuttle boat service from the pier near the subway station to the hotel. However, there were no signs at the pier indicating where to catch the hotel's shuttle. There was just a big guy sitting there, so I took a chance and asked him. He told us to just wait there, and a boat would come every half hour. After waiting for nearly 40 minutes, a hotel staff member approached us to say there was no boat and drove us to the hotel instead. Apparently, there's a two-hour lunch break in the middle of the day when no boats operate. This information should have been clearly stated on the website. Having to wait in such hot weather, just the experience of getting to the hotel was already quite frustrating. Fortunately, after checking in and getting to our room, the impression was quite good. The room was spacious, clean, and tidy, with river and pool views, which immediately lifted my spirits. We had breakfast at the hotel both mornings, and it was alright. On checkout day, there was a boat available, shuttling us back to the subway station pier. At least we got to cruise along the Chao Phraya River, concluding our trip to Thailand.

GGuest UserAddressed to Jon Warmington, the General Manager I recently stayed at Grand Mercure Bangkok Atrium room 842 from 27 May to 1 June and would like to share some feedback regarding my experience. First and foremost, I would like to emphasize that I genuinely enjoyed my stay. The hotel, facilities, and the majority of the team members provided excellent service, and overall I had a pleasant experience. In fact, I am not the type of guest who frequently raises complaints. During my travels, I spend very little time in my hotel room. Most of my day is spent outside the property, and my interaction with the hotel is generally limited to breakfast and sleeping. As such, it takes a significant issue for me to feel compelled to formally raise a concern. The first issue relates to breakfast. During my stay, I invited a Muslim friend to join me for breakfast. He entered the restaurant with me but did not consume any food because he was unable to find suitable options that met his dietary requirements. While I acknowledge that I did not raise this directly with the restaurant team at the time, I was surprised when Reception later informed me that they had verified that my friend had taken breakfast. From my perspective, entering the restaurant should not automatically be considered as consuming breakfast when no food was actually taken. Nevertheless, I have decided to let this matter rest and move on. The second issue is far more serious and is the primary reason for this email. On my final night at the hotel, I was expecting a visitor. However, Reception did not contact me to verify whether I was expecting anyone before allowing my visitor access to the guest floors. Instead, my visitor was simply directed to my room and arrived at my door unannounced. Having worked within the Accor group for approximately 15 years as a Duty Manager in Singapore, I am very familiar with hotel operational procedures, guest privacy standards, and security protocols. It has always been my understanding that when a visitor arrives for an in-house guest, Reception should first contact the guest to obtain authorization before granting access to the room floors. While my visitor was indeed expected on this occasion, Reception had no way of knowing that without contacting me first. Had the visitor not been known to me, this could have resulted in a serious security and privacy issue. In my professional opinion, allowing a visitor direct access to a guest room without prior verification is unacceptable and falls short of the standards expected from an Accor property. What further disappointed me was the handling of the matter after I raised my concern. I wish to be clear that I am not seeking compensation of any kind. My concern is not financial. Rather, I expect an appropriate resolution and acknowledgement of the seriousness of the issue. Simply being told ”sorry” was not sufficient given the nature of the security lapse. The alternatives presented to me by the Night Manager were also, in my view, unreasonable. One option was for me to move to another room on my final night. Considering that I was due to check out the following morning, I found this solution impractical and disruptive. Being asked to pack my belongings and relocate because of an issue that was not caused by me did not seem to be an appropriate resolution. I was also informed that a Reception Manager would speak with me. However, I was unable to wait indefinitely for the manager's arrival. As a guest who was raising a legitimate concern, I do not believe I should have been expected to delay my evening plans or remain available for an uncertain period of time. Furthermore, I was scheduled to leave the hotel at 7:00 AM the next morning in order to arrive at the airport early for my flight. For these reasons, I felt that the issue was not properly addressed during my stay, which is why I am bringing it directly to your attention. I am raising this matter not only as a guest but also

SSmallduckThe hotel is located in the city center, but quite deep within an alley, though they do offer a shuttle service. The staff provided excellent service; everyone was friendly, smiling, and attentive. The room was clean, and the hotel itself is relatively new. The room layout was good, and it was fully equipped. Personally, I really liked it. There's also a cafe downstairs with good coffee. If I have the chance, I'll definitely stay here again. We checked in late, and the hotel upgraded our room. The room had a microwave, a coffee machine, and all the dishes and utensils you could need. One night wasn't enough; next time I'll stay for two nights. If you're hesitant, I highly recommend it; I personally think it's great.

AAnasdanWe stayed at this hotel for two nights. Cons The rooms are very outdated. Furniture, walls, corners, and the bathroom show visible wear and damage. The rooms clearly need renovation. The photos on the listing do not reflect the current condition of the rooms. They look much newer than they actually are. A stove was listed as an amenity, but in reality it was not usable — it was covered with a fixed wooden panel and could not be opened. There is no tea or coffee in the room, despite a coffee machine being shown in the photos. Tea is available at the reception during daytime only. The air conditioner is very noisy. It is controlled via a wall panel (no remote control) with limited settings, and even on the lowest mode the noise is noticeable. There is no ventilation fan in the bathroom, so steam stays in the room after showering unless the door is opened. The TV offers only Thai channels. There is no Smart TV and no option to connect a phone. The kitchen area has a sink, cabinets, and basic dishes, but it is not functional due to the lack of a stove. Despite cleaning, the room looks visually worn because of the overall condition of the walls and ceiling. Pros The bed is comfortable, with two pillows per person. Clean bed linen. The bathroom was clean, with good water pressure. The room includes a new hairdryer, a refrigerator, dishes, and cutlery. There is a balcony facing the courtyard, where smoking is allowed. The staff were polite and helpful. The receptionist spoke good English and explained everything clearly, and the housekeeping staff were also very friendly. The hotel provides a golf cart shuttle to nearby shopping malls. The location is convenient, close to M-Sphere, Emporium, and the M District, which was the main reason we chose this hotel. Overall Suitable for a short stay of one night. The main drawback is the outdated rooms and mismatch with the photos. The location and staff are the hotel’s strongest points.
