"Perfect stay! I would strongly recommend secluded but near china town, so everything is easy to reach with grab scooters. The staff was helpful and friendly. Rooms were clean and tidy exactly reflecting the fotos. The amenities were also great, restocked when used and there was free water despenser and snacks."

"This four-star hotel is prominently located right at the Hua Lamphong train station. UHG seems to have many branches, and the design has a very Chinese aesthetic. The check-in lobby is on the 12th floor, but interestingly, to get to the guest rooms, you have to take a separate elevator on the other side, which offers a good sense of privacy. This stay included complimentary welcome drinks, but unfortunately, my schedule was too packed to redeem them. The room had a floor-to-ceiling window offering direct views of the entire train station, paired with Bangkok's beautiful weather, which was very pleasant! Behind the hotel, you enter the Chinatown area, where you'll see many Chinese character signs and various affordable local eateries. That's why I didn't opt for the hotel's buffet this time and instead went out to explore the food options in the back. The pool design has some contradictory aspects; for instance, they don't provide pool-specific towels for guests, and there are no changing rooms or showers nearby. There is a restroom, but it had a noticeable odor that needs immediate improvement. So, if you want to swim, you have to change into your swimwear on a lower guest floor first, then go to the 12th floor before getting into the water, which feels extremely awkward. However, the overall comprehensive rating is still excellent."

"This was my first stay at this hotel. I chose it for its convenient location right on the main road. Initially, I thought it would be like the other hotels I've stayed at in Yaowarat – typical rooms and furniture, nothing particularly impressive. However, from the moment I checked in at the front desk, I was incredibly impressed by the friendly and helpful staff, as well as their excellent service and clear explanation of the hotel's policies. The room was spotlessly clean, and all the amenities were complete. The air conditioning was wonderfully cold, and both hot and cold water flowed with great pressure, which I appreciated even more than at previous hotels. The room size was spacious and quite comfortable for living in. There were no issues with using the elevator to get to and from my room. The housekeepers were also very friendly and lovely. All in all, I was not disappointed with my stay. Thank you so much for the impressive service!"

"Highly recommended, excellent value for money! It's a shame I only stayed here on my last day; next time I'm in Bangkok, I'll book my entire trip here. From the moment I walked in, the service was exceptional. The front desk staff spoke Chinese, were very friendly, and attentive. Being able to check in early was a huge relief (many businesses don't realize how convenient this is for travelers, always thinking they're losing out by allowing early check-ins – such short-sightedness!). There's also a dedicated luggage storage area after check-out, which is very reassuring. The owner has great taste, and the decor is perfect for anyone who loves taking photos. The location is also excellent. Overall, I'm extremely satisfied and hope they maintain their fantastic value for money!"

"The hotel's location is absolutely fantastic, right next to IconSiam. I emailed them beforehand to mention it was my birthday, and they not only arranged for a non-corner room but also surprised me with a cake! The front desk staff even upgraded us to two rooms and were incredibly friendly. They don't discriminate against Chinese guests, and the pool wasn't dirty at all."

"This hotel is conveniently located directly across the street from MRT (BL29) Wat Mangkon station, exit 1, and is situated within a shopping mall. The check-in counter is on the 4th floor of the mall. Downstairs, there's a popular Thai milk tea shop and a 7-Eleven, which is very handy. The surrounding area is bustling with street food stalls and shops, offering excellent amenities. Chinatown, a must-visit for tourists with its night market, is just a 5-minute walk across one street. The hotel rooms have a simple design; while not luxurious, they are comfortable. If you enjoy taking photos, the 4th-floor lobby and courtyard are perfect for Instagram-worthy shots. The staff were all very enthusiastic and courteous. Overall, it was a pleasant stay."

"Honestly, this hotel deserves no more than a 3-star rating. And the 3-star is only for the location. All the other things deserve 1-star. The only positives are its location and the lobby. Everything else was disappointing. The furniture is very old and of poor quality, the bed was extremely uncomfortable, and the bathroom had a constant unpleasant smell. The room had almost no soundproofing. Even though we were staying on the 11th floor, we could clearly hear traffic from the street, passing cars, and children playing in the pool as if the window were open. The room door was also made of very poor-quality wood, so every time someone walked through the hallway, we could hear their footsteps, doors slamming, and loud banging noises. There was never a moment of peace and quiet—between the traffic, the noise from other guests due to the lack of soundproofing, constant door slamming, and even sounds coming from the pipes inside the walls. I swear I can hear the mans cough and talking in the next room.. We also asked the hotel if they could store just one suitcase for us while we traveled to Phuket and returned to Bangkok. They refused, saying they would only do so if we had another reservation with them. I have stayed at lower-rated hotels that happily stored our luggage even though we were not coming back, so this was disappointing. We also asked if they could extend our checkout by just two hours since our flight was at 2:00 PM, but they refused without offering any flexibility. Overall, I would never stay at this hotel again, and I would not recommend it to anyone."

"Very bad experience. There was heavy mold inside the air conditioner. The mold was everywhere in the AC unit, which is very dangerous for health. Because of this, I could not use the air conditioner at all. I contacted the staff at night after coming back from being outside all day, but the staff said they could not do anything. I had to solve the problem myself by asking for a fan because it was impossible to turn on the AC due to the mold. In addition, the walls are extremely thin. I could hear everything from other rooms, which made it very uncomfortable and difficult to rest. The staff on the check-in day were nice, but for the rest of the stay, the service was very bad. I do not recommend this hotel, especially for anyone who cares about health and comfort."
